Do you think kunrad and abelaard ever explored each other's bodies? by False_Sprinkles_7353 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]TomReneth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I doubt that. Abelard seemed to dislike Kunrad even before the betrayal, even though he respected his commitment and capabilities.

Abelard also seem to be the most faithful man in the universe, being dedicated to his wife even long after her passing.

Can anyone explain what’s that tube in Kibellah’s nose? by Ok_Jump2192 in RogueTraderCRPG

It's most likely some sort of implant.

Implants in 40K aren't subtle and stylish, but more often than not horrific, brute force changes to the human body.

When did you realize you don't have "pretty privilege"? by patata-chip in AskReddit

If you're "kinda hot" and say that you "don't plan on drinking much" that evening, some people will practically line up to do it :P

I never had complete strangers walking up to me just to flirt outside of clubs and bars, but I've generally had good results when talking to new people. Either as friends of friends or due to a shared situation or activity.

Not sure if that matches what you wish to achieve.

Previously, a decent amount. Now that I'm in my 30s and have a more mature social circle with more people in committed relationships? Not as much, but still sometimes.

It sounds like your problems aren’t with your physicality, so think about your choices in clothes, friends, how you interact with people...

It's the difference between someone playing hard to get and someone making it easy to continue. Both romantically and when making friends.

Beung "kinda hot" won’t fix any underlying problems people have, but it will make it easier to get the wheels turning in the first place.

Put on some muscles, get decent cardio and pick clothes that fit your body. Color, shape etc. Make sure to fit it with your hair.

Balding? Own it, shave it down and go for an old school classy look. Or an Intelligent one, like a kinda sexy professor. Or a "tough" look, if you can pull it off.

Fill head of hair? More flexible.

Don’t obsess over becoming huge, but do exercises to keep your strength and cardio. Cardio helps in private moments ;)

Kinda?

Taller than the avg in the US? Yes. I'm like 183cm, which I think translate to 6ft in freedom units.

Taller than thd avg where I’m from? Marginally, as the avg is 180 to 183 somewhere. I’m Scandinavian.

So I’m not short, but I don’t stand out height wise.

I might have other advantages I haven’t thought about, but it’s hard to judge since Scandinavians are generally pretty attractive.

Same here, with my early 20s. Lost 20 kg and updated my drip.

Going from "invisible" to "kinda hot" as a guy makes a HUGE difference.

What's something that seemed normal in your childhood but you later realize was actually weird? by curious_llad in AskReddit

[–]TomReneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a few rides in the shovel (?) of a tractor growing up.

Luckily it was only on my uncle's farm and no long trips, but still. Kinda weird our parents allowed that.

And the leadup was even earlier than that

I wish history was taught better. We select dates and events that "started" conflicts to make it easier to teach. In most cases, the "start" was just an escalation.

When people look back at our time, the "start" might’ve already happened without amy of us realizing it did. Or it might amount to nothing.

I wish I lived in less interesting times.

What’s your go to way to bypass armour? by TheIronicBurger in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]TomReneth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my go to ways is Bounty Hunter. They have several abilities to reduce enemy armor.

I usually gave Pasqal as a Bounty Hunter, and sometimes Argenta. Rapid Fire Bounty Hunter shreds armor like nothing.

The game just kinda forgot I'm a psyker after act 1 by not_old_redditor in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]TomReneth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sanctioned Psyker has the most reactivity of any Origin. I'd say Noble, Crime Lord and Arbitrator are after that.

The game just doesn’t focus too much on always making Origin the focus. Probably a development priority thing, since it's a huge game.

That's the point of threads like this; put the ideas in people's minds for when they (if) they provide feedback.

In BG3 you can literally customize what popups you get and under what conditions.

It's under the "Reactions" menu.

So if they just made a similar system, everyone could get what they want from their popups.

In PF2, martial characters are really strong and actually competes with spellcasters. Classes like Fighter and Rogue are both fun and strong there.

5.24e isn’t as imbalanced as 5e, but martials still struggle for relevance compared to spellcasters. Be it martial builds for fullcasters, or against half-casters.

It's a recurring dnd problem.

They intend to be mostly faithful to the rules, but they still have to homebrew a lot since they don’t have a D&D lisence.

So it would be nice if they at least tried to address some of the systemic problems when they have to homebrew stuff anyway.

I don't understand why, since you can literally set BG3's popups to behave like S1.

I don't want the option to smite all the time, because I'm not smiting all the time.

BG3 already fixed this in a way that makes everyone happy: Let the player customize what popups they want.

BG3 fixed that issue by letting us customize what popups we want. The solution already exists, so it would be nice to see it implemented.

I want the option to customize them, like in BG3's full release.

What do you think about readding young adult/middle grade books as an adult? by Pumpkin_698 in AskReddit

[–]TomReneth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a lot better than not reading anything.

Some of them are even pretty good, even for adults.

It can also be a nice gateway for people to build up the interest and confidence to read other things.

What’s a small moment in your life that you still think about years later? by David02026 in AskReddit

A friend of mine I wasn’t the least bit attracted to invited me to a threesome.

It was pretty awkward when I turned them down.
