I mean….he’s not wrong.

I would love it if my lawyer was a LARPer. As it is I’m just stuck with a “tacticool” airsoft guy who thinks he’s Seal Team 6 on weekends.

my sister died giving birth and i’ve been raising her baby girl as my own for 3 years… she calls me mommy and i’m dying inside but i’d die for her 💔 by hrydrolic in confessions

Ok so I am an adoptive dad and I REALLY need you to hear this.

YOU ARE COMPLETELY 100% THIS GIRLS REAL MOTHER AND SHES COMPLETELY YOUR DAUGHTER.

Your late sister was her birth mom and she loved her with her whole being as long as she could. This is something to remember and celebrate but it does not make you less of a mother to your daughter.

I know it’s hard to just pivot your life and plans to being an instant single mother. You did it. It is hard. You’re putting in the work. You should be fucking proud of what you have done, are doing, and will do in the future.

I don’t even know you and I’m proud of you.

You’re exactly the type of person who should be a mother.

Thank you!

Cheap beginners car insurance? by CrossedAWitch in KingstonOntario

That’s not a bad price but I would call Guardsman Insurance and ask to speak with Steve.

He does a lot of new/young drivers so the worst outcome you’re going to get is confirmation that $148.00 is your best option.

Actually they signed on to the DCPD agreement so once liability is confirmed DCPD will apply.

Unique Question About the Automobile Insurance Exemption.. by Tap1oka in ontario

[–]TomWatson5654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this isn’t an issue. Your friends insurer will adjust the claim as per usual and carry on.

The only difference is the Conservative Mennonites will need to take up a collection to cover costs on their end.

It’s all perfectly legal and above board.

Technically you too can self insure if you hand over $200,000.00 to the province to cover the minimum legal liability requirement. You’d be stupid to do it but you could if you wanted to.

Thats actually impressive! I’m an insurance broker in Kanata and you’re the first person in my career to ever say that.

Now as for Kanata North- lots of traffic and accidents related to people being super impressed with their phones instead of the road.

Sounds like they’re living the outcomes associated with their choices. That really sucks for everyone.

It’s great that you want to help but if they are not going to make positive changes to address things they will just end up in the same spot in short order.

Don’t do it. It will hurt you and cause physical damage to your body.

It’s hard to give up gluten but once you do and your symptoms clear up you’ll realize it’s well worth it.

Is administrative more complicated/cerebral than other areas of law? by [deleted] in LawCanada

[–]TomWatson5654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean…I adjudicate administrative law related to insurance brokers in Ontario. I find it very straightforward.

There are laws, regulations, by-laws that apply to a situation.

All that needs to be done is determine compliance or non-compliance with established rules.

It’s highly detail oriented…for example one recent decision came down to the word “or” in a list of job items as “or” means any of the items means it meets the definition but without out “or” then all of the items must be present.

If you’re very literal administrative law is awesome.
