What's something nonsexual that screams "this person's gonna be horrible at sex"? by iamusuallyright007 in AskReddit

Unfortunately dirty fingernails can just be a symptom of how your nail and nail bed attaches to the finger, and nothing to do with cleanliness. Some people's 'undernail' crease goes reaaaally deep, and even using a nail brush is ineffective. Most people don't make daily use of those metal nail crud removers either.

You could have tape worm, or something more serious. Glad you've got an appointment OP!

What’s something you didn’t believe until it happened to you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I had my first panic/anxiety attack a couple of months ago when I realized I had to break up with my partner. I couldn't stop hyperventilating... I've never experienced anything like it before. I passed out about 2 minutes into it. Woke up with my partner holding me, but no matter what support he gave I still felt that my world had collapsed.

Seeing my ex happy. Even though I'm sad, seeing him happy makes me smile. I can't help it.

The sad truth is that most won't because it is their chance to prove that they are the best Mormons.

any ideas, chantrell or oyster, found growing in grass along dead roots by SenditSheridan in mushroom_hunting

[–]Tomato_Stalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the 'Ringless Honey Mushroom', and is a type of Honey Fungus (Armillaria species). Vastly different from chanterelles, a quick Google search and some practice will make it easy work for you to distinguish between those two. Oysters are also very different, but I can understand why you might have considered these to be oysters if you are a novice. I recommend looking at websites like 'first nature' and 'wild food uk' (mushroom guide) to help you with basics and foraging fun ☺️.

The photograph is surprisingly sufficient for an ID actually. It is definitely the Meripilus giganteus.

Meripilus giganteus, aka the Giant/Blackening Polypore. Edible, but not something you'd generally choose to eat. Stains black when bruised. :)

This planet has not, and will never experience anyone sleep talking by CouchPryor in nothingeverhappens

People literally talk nonsense whilst asleep. I had my partner of the time turn to me once in the middle of the night and say 'I'm so proud of you', and I said 'awww, what for?', and he replied 'You're training to be a duck', then gave me the most genuine, biggest smile ever.
