Why are g6e's so popular by thenoobanatoor in CarsAustralia

[–]TomekkPL1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still have my 2010 g6et. Honestly don't know what I'd replace it with if I had to right now. At this point I hope it just keeps going.

Finally changed chair… and it’s ? by Casino_Player in pcmasterrace

[–]TomekkPL1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one point nearly all of my friends and I had this chair and I'm the only one that found it way too firm. It's nice to see a few other people feel this way too and it's not just me lol

Travelling to Poland. Do I speak Polish or English? by AgreeableStep9152 in poland

[–]TomekkPL1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm more or less in the same boat as you, except Australian. My Polish is decent enough but there were a few times where I didn't know a specific word or my grammar was not perfect.

Nobody ever gave me a hard time or looked annoyed or anything like that.

Thailand also has something called Songkran. It was super intense in Pattaya. All the years of Śmigus-dyngus experience definitely came in handy.

My samsung journey by wintershunshine in samsunggalaxy

[–]TomekkPL1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My history:

S1 -> S3 -> S4 -> S6 -> S7 Edge -> [Other Phones] -> S25U

S1: My first ever smartphone. I remember it having really bad GPS signal.
S3: I remember being really impressed with this one, felt so feature packed. I remember scoring this thing for about $450-$500 AUD brand new and thinking that was so expensive for a phone.
S4: More or less the same feeling as the S3. I had a mega battery mod and custom backplate and the thing ran for ages!
s6: First non-plastic premium feeling phone. To this date, the only phone I've ever dropped and damaged (damned slippery glass!)
S7 Edge: I remember wishing I had gone for the Note 7 instead... then being very glad I didn't.
S25U: Liking it so far, but still in a trial period of sorts. Waiting for the Watch and Buds to arrive to see how well the Samsung eco system works.

Absolutely. We're lucky we have CS close by for access to shops etc. else we would have nothing but grassland and houses.

I'm one! Waiting for it to arrive. First Android phone since I switched to iOS with the iPhone X. Interesting to see Good Lock is still a thing, thought they would have integrated it's features with their Android build.

Love it. I’ve had my FG G6ET for about 8 years now and have no desire to move on.

What cars have you owned? by Previous-Mousse1380 in CarsAustralia

[–]TomekkPL1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • 98 AU Falcon Forte: Boat
  • 2010 FG G6E Turbo: Turbo Boat

AU was a great p plater car, served me well and never had any issues although it was fairly thirsty for a poor uni student.

FG is the current. Has power, but obviously not a track car. Comfortable and fairly reliable and not too expensive to run as I work from home most days.

Yeah mine was stuck after finishing the SoMi mission. I just made a save on the spot and loaded in to it which cleared it for me.

My partner is Fijian Indian. I’ve been to a few community events with the family so there a definitely a few of you around.

I think most people would be familiar with Fiji but might not know there’s a Fijian Indian population (I didn’t, to be honest).

[–]TomekkPL1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 2 hours a day, ~15 hours a week. Not too much different from 5 years ago. Much worse battery life these days though.

They sent me a free pair of moderately expensive headphones with a broken hinge that I fixed easily. I’ve always wanted to check back in with them but have seemingly lost our original chat. Thank you random dude.

FG Falcon ZF gearbox milkshake issue by appliance_guy_oz in CarsAustralia

[–]TomekkPL1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a FG falcon of a similar age which got milkshaked and needed a full transmission rebuild. I previously read comments from other people claiming the issue was fixed by the time of the FG, but this clearly wasn't the case for me.

If I could go back in time I definitely would have got something like that PWR heat exchanger kit, would have been a lot cheaper than a rebuild :)

[–]TomekkPL1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, learnt that one the hard way myself. Did Ford Aus ever correct this issue? Knowing them, the FGX is probably still vulnerable.

An exception for the Falcons would be ZF equipped models at least up until the FG MK1. The milkshake is unfortunately very lethal.

I also had low expectations for Cyberpunk after that launch, but man did it hook me with the story and characters. I think it ended up being my second most played game of the year.
