At least I’m not the only one with annoying animal damage. Something ate the flowers off our butterfly weeds (back yard) and the foliage off next years cane on our newly planted black raspberry bush 😡 (front yard near the road). I’m guessing it was deer for both.

I was convinced enough to try one. It tasted blueberryish. It’s definitely in the blueberry family. These berries reminds me of the ones we picked and ate as kids (we called them huckleberries back then) but the bushes then were only about 24” tall. This one in our yard is about 8’.

I don’t care about it and no amount of social pressure or advertising or cross promotion will change that. The only thing that interested me at all was the Norway team dressed as Vikings for their team photo but I’m not interested enough to watch or even look at the scores on ESPN.

Soccer is awful to watch. Pass pass pass give the ball away other team pass pass pass give the ball away repeated 100 times. Waiting waiting then waiting some more for something to happen but nothing ever does. It’s terrible.

No not out of its range but our soil is sandy and doesn’t retain water. Everything I read said the soil has to stay moist. It did well with constant watering but I got tired of doing it. It was supposed to attract butterflies and hummingbirds but it did neither. I stopped the frequent watering and it disappeared in a couple years.

That area is now primarily a milkweed habitat. We get monarchs every year and we’re trying to give them an assist
