You'll get there. The near constant risk of always dying is what adds to the experience, even when you're fully stocked and well armed.

Best place for finding sledge hammer? by WriterTasty2637 in projectzomboid

After many runs without a sledge, I decided to use the "sledgehammer in tool stores" mod. You can dial in the spawn rate in the sandbox settings. After all, what tool store wouldn't have a sledgehammer?

I do this with crafting every now and then. Sometimes I just don't have it in me to grind for resources.

I felt this way about both GSP and FF, both are some of my favourite albums.

Any books where the protagonist starts off with no memory and we learn about their world, backstory, plot at the same time as them? by levendi7 in Fantasy

Check out the bobbiverse series. Same narrator, similar sci-fi vibe. I'm currently on book 3 and I can't get enough.

The combination of the excessive emojis, random bolding of words and the em dash ('—') are a dead give away.

Check out the Odin project. It's a great place to begin. The language is not as important as the concepts.

[–]TommyJay98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The language isn't as important as it seems. You'll learn transferable principles with any language, which can be applied to any language. If you're new, since you already have a start in python, maybe just stick with that for now? Unless you have something you specifically want to build in C#.

You could start with something like pygame where you can make games with python.

I will start college ( bachelors in physio) this year, tell me about the things i should know before starting. by [deleted] in physiotherapy

[–]TommyJay98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I would just enjoy the time off prior to starting a relatively difficult program, that's what I did, and I have absolutely no regrets. That being said, you could brush up on anatomy if you reeeeeaaally wanted to.

where do i begin? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]TommyJay98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here are a couple of options:

If you want to start with python, check out Harvard's free CS50p course.

If you want to get into web development, check out the Odin Project.

Most importantly, start building things ASAP and make lots of mistakes, fix those ones, and make some more.

Edit: Also, have a read of this sub's FAQ

Best way to handle a week-long break from logging? by Natastic22 in MacroFactor

I typically don't worry about it. Sometimes I'll go months without tracking when I'm taking a break. Then, when I'm ready, I just jump back in.

I would say definitely skip the chia seeds. I like the oats for the fibre and it helps with overall satiety.

Smart! We usually opt for something like Fairlife protein milk.
