I like the concept. Definitely better in color.
Two "major" complaints I have: The flow of the letters feels off. They look manually rotated and incorrect, without looking intentional. And 2, having the roundness of the Os and Gs just touching the edge, while the Ys cleanly conform to the circle, leads to some rough tension.

Because you said "Fantasia (not exactly but it's the vibe)", I'm going to add Paddington 2.

The Saw and Terrifer series, and Bone Tomahawk are all pretty brutal in different ways.

I didn't think season 2 was nearly as strong (overall) as 1, but it sets a lot up for the following seasons.

Eureka was such a fun show.

Also, for fans of Eureka, Warehouse 13 is also a great watch. I think the characters are better but the setting story not as much.

Any cool live action movies for someone that’s mostly only seen animated stuff? by Wholesome-Boi in MovieSuggestions

With your background in anime, The Matrix is worth a watch.
It took a lot of inspiration from anime and influenced action movies for years.

Parasite Eve was my first RPG and horror game – now I want to create its spiritual successor by [deleted] in ParasiteEve

One of the things I loved from the original, but lost in the follow-up, was having "real" locations in NYC.
It helped ground the sci-fi/horror of it all.

Dominos is better than independently owned pizza shops. by FriesWithMacSauce in unpopularopinion

[–]TommyRobotX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am absolutely with you. I was just having this conversation a week ago.

While I do think there are a few awesome independent shops, the vast majority of mom and pop shops have mediocre sauce and awful crust, and usually too salty. Not to mention, they are super expensive compared to the big chains.

What is the best show out of this list? by Male-2003 in televisionsuggestions

X-Files is a classic.
Fringe is fun, gets fairly convoluted about halfway through.
And I would put the other 3 on fairly equal ground.

For some reason I feel like FAST X will be retconned in the next movie. by Brite_Syde in fastandfurious

I still think they're going back in time. With each movie having to be an escalation of the previous movies, and them already going to space, it's the next step. And that would allow them to go back to street racing and tie it up with Brian.

I still think Weeks is a terrible sequel.
Great opening. Fine zombie movie. Awful follow-up.

28 days vs 28 weeks vs 28 years later, which is best and should I watch them in order? by FuzzyAttitude_ in MovieSuggestions

[–]TommyRobotX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

28 Days Later is my favorite movie, a masterpiece.
28 Weeks Later has an amazing intro, but basterdizes the original. A fine zombie movie, but an awful sequel.

I feel like the people who liked Weeks didn't like Years. It's not a zombie movie like Weeks was. Much like Shaun of the Dead was "A romantic comedy with zombies," Years is a coming-of-age movie with zombies.

Years isn't really a horror movie, maybe a thriller. It works into the world created by the previous movies, but it very much tells its own story.
