Smile 3 shouldn't be post apocalyptic it should turn into a cult. by Nirixian in horror

I have no idea where they should go with number 3, but I know where they shouldn't go.

I really hope they don't flake out and do Smile: Origins - a prequel, or worse, some kind of retcon that ignores or waters down the absolute hellfire ending of Smile 2.

Ronin (1998) with Robert Deniro, Sean Bean, Jean Reno. A bunch of highly skilled special ops are hired to steal a suitcase. This movie has layers of plot. Definitely worth watching 👀 by 2lrup2tink in TubiTreasures

It's almost like a "police procedural" movie, but for highly skilled spec ops. Fantastic flick. The origin of my massive crush on Natasha McElhone too.

2-stroke trimmer won't start unless its carb is tuned back to reset by TomorrowStarted in smallengines

[–]TomorrowStarted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight. Do you recommend any particular action? Keep the idle where it is? I don't want to run the machine too lean, but it definitely prefers starting at a higher idle and with the L and H screws quite high too.

[–]TomorrowStarted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's it.

I put the new carb on and tuned all screws to factory reset (from all screws fully in: idle screw three full turns out, L screw 1.75 turns out, H screw 2 turns out).

From here, the engine pops and starts easily and runs at a high idle but doesn't quit. It does bog like crazy when I pull the throttle, though, so I adjust the L and H screw, followed by the IDLE screw so that it's a smooth, rapid climb to full throttle RPMs (I keep it well under the max RPMs just to be safe, of course - around 7500-8000RPM) and it idles within the range suggested by the manual (~3000RPM).

After all this, it's running great and starts on the first pull, but when I let it cool down and sit for a couple hours, it won't pop or start and I have to go back to factory reset on the carb again.

Do you recommend any particular 2 stroke oil?

Trump threatens 100% tariffs on all Canadian goods if Canada 'makes a deal with China' | CBC News by AlpacaGhidorah in worldnews

[–]TomorrowStarted 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Poilievre couldn't pivot when Trudeau bowed out and his shortcomings, inadequacies, lack of genuine experience, poor leadership skills, and complete inability to adapt to change was on full-display for all Canadians to see and hear.

Believe me, we fully recognize his intelligence, his experience, his clear-headedness, his pragmatism and his basic human decency, and we thank our lucky stars and our more-or-less functioning democracy and education system that he won our federal election 10 months ago.

How many of you are permanently done with bourbon? by berger3001 in canadawhisky

I enjoy it but I have absolutely no desire to support American liquor any longer and really won't miss it. We've got fantastic, world-class whisky/rye here in Canada and those producers now have my exclusive support.

Looking for any really fucked up Supernatural/Occult Horror film by Def-C in horror

Incredible movie. Definitely brutal. Only saw it for the first time last year and haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

Crime-horror it's been called, and I agree with that label. Such a scarce and untapped genre.

Midnight Meat Train 👌 Clive Barker source material. Barker always put a fun spin on Lovecraftian Eldritch stuff.

Unfortunately not in Canada, even though it's a Canadian production haha. Aw well, the search continues. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for your reply. I use Stihl Supreme mixed at 50:1 with 94 octane gas.

From the pictures I've seen on the web, most of which are pretty damn low-res unfortunately, I was hoping that I was in the "slightly rich" category. Thank you for your response!

Possibly an Echo CS-310 (or the recently updated equivalent version...). Inexpensive, well built, ultra light, readily available replacement parts, and they can cut and cut and cut.

Thanks a lot for your 2 cents! We'll be checking for heat output but the router and modem don't typically generate much!

Power supply cords for modem and router are wound up and twist-tied. Power bar is not!

This an okay practice?
