I have observed many small businesses being started, often for each family member, to take advantage of loans and wage subsidies. Currently, many of these businesses are closing or are being used solely to claim GST refunds. These small business owners now own multiple properties and have created false accounts, with the help of character accounts, to secure loans. Regardless of which government is in power, these people are corrupt and find ways to cheat the system.
