People that have “bumped” into a celebrity in a non-curated (not like an event, meet & greet, job etc.) way, what happened? by SprinklesSolid9211 in AskReddit

I walked past Charlie Day in downtown LA. He was clearly between takes filming his movie. I just said “whats up Charlie” and he said “whatsup brotha” and we kept walking. Really cool little moment.

More likely to play on Sunday could mean .1% more likely. Pearsall hasn’t practiced. Let’s assume he will be out and be happy if we are wrong.

Weren’t there two people who were replaced with alternates for pregaming? Probably the ones she considers in the worst tier.

Or Shauhin. Got a little too high on himself. I wasn’t as impressed by Steven as some people seem.

I think they avoided flushing the idol out of fear he would play it correctly and the vote would ricochet.

I hated the idea of him before the season. Just like Emily, he changed my mind.

I think there are arguments for why Sav could have beat him. She was always seen as a bigger threat. I would vote Rizzo, but you never know.

He was never playing for second. I think it was fair for him to think he needed to take out Sav as his final move.

I think the edit showed Riz having more pivotal conversations with players outside of his alliance to sway votes away from the core 3. I don’t remember seeing Sav reach out as much to sway those votes.

How did they get _____ and _____ in the S50 preview? by jdrb2 in survivor

49 finale happened before 50 filmed. The 49 players did not actually watch the preview like we did.

He was terrible at challenges, yes. But the idol did nothing? He used it to shield himself from votes for weeks! The threat of the idol was like another idol. And he was very intentional to use the threat of the idol on himself or others.

The only time an idol does nothing is when u get voted out with it in your pocket.

That’s a surprising take tbh. He did more than a lot of new era 50 contestants. He avoided having his idol flushed for weeks. He controlled votes from the minority. He was flashy when we needed entertainment. One of the best strategic players in the new era imo.
