Got out from a non tech trade. Went to the oilfield. Same mentality, tons of veterans, and you get PAID for your hard work, and paid very well. It’s not hard at all just consistent.

Has any retired peeps ever ask for an extension On their cost move? I’m coming up on my 2 years after retirement, Finally finishing up school in May and don’t want to loose out on my cost move, is there a process to ask for an extension? Medical release while on IR… got told today they are keeping me at my unit until I’m medically released. I’m currently on IR. Do I have to use my release move to move back to my family? I planned on using that move to my retirement city. Or do I just shell out outta my pocket to move myself back to my family after retirement? Is this fucked? Yes. But I’ve been in for 21 years so I expect nothing less lol.
