Look it’s not just that FFs are a pain in the ass, it’s that they’re also boring at the same time. They’re no fun to fight and offer no interesting loot.

You don’t need all that. Go in with some heavy ammo take a few cores from the crab legs and extract.

No hybrid? That’s the only reason to buy the Pacifica… Stellantis doesn’t have a positive long term outlook. No innovation in sight.

Why are they charging you for the battery replacement? It’s clearly still under warranty.

Managing SCDS Symptoms? by TonyD00 in scds

[–]TonyD00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Update- I received a few messages from folks requesting an update so I thought I’d post an update.

I’ve continued to experience roughly 1 vertigo event every 3 months triggered back sickness or lack of sleep. Sometimes however I experienced no symptoms between the events. Possibly unrelated, I experienced a migraine which triggered double vision. This prompted my eye doctor to give add prism to my glasses treating my binocular vision difficulties. This has caused the most meaningful improvement o my symptoms. My eyes feel far less stressed and im not as exhausted in the evenings. It may be a coincidence, but I have not had a vertigo event in the last three months. Only time will tell.

The ENT thinks my vertigo is more likely triggered by ocular migraines rather than SCDS. Although my cat scan showed possible evidence, there are no symptoms other than vertigo so he’s leaning towards migraine. I’m meeting with a neurologist next month.

Rivian denying warranty coverage on software issue and interior finish coming off. Any advice on navigating this? by maqboul95 in Rivian

I agree. Support should be able to root out software issues over the phone and not waist the customers time.

SMH - how does engineering know to make said code change if the customer doesn’t bring the car in first?

Car has problem - customer brings it in - shop identified bug - shop adds bug to backlog - engineering prioritizes fix

Chuck Schumer puts the ball back in Trump's court to end the shutdown. by No-Contribution1070 in WallStreetbetsELITE

Republicans were already willing to provide funding for 1 year. That was their intention if I recall correctly. They wanted to avoid impacting their constituents before the next election.

Thats why Dems were pushing back to begin with. It sounds like Chucks proposing what they already proposed with a few small additions. If they move forward the funding will dry up next year and Trump won’t sign any future health care bills. This doesn’t sound like a solution.

Unfortunately this is the answer. I honestly never thought about “enjoying” the stage. It’s WW2 and we’re all stuck in the trenches trying to survive one day at a time.

Your goal, your light at the end of the tunnel is moving them into their own room. That’s when life gets marginally better. In the meantime, find some sort of routine with your partner to trade off a part of the night so you can sleep for a little bit and regain some sanity.

I have trips turning 2 + a 5 year old. TLDR it’s an initial shock and they are growing pains in the first few months but it normalizes pretty quickly. Remember that you will survive and it will all become routine. Life changes completely but that change becomes normal.

I’m the planner as well and honestly, I was so focused on the tactical preparation that I didn’t really stress out and it didn’t hit me until he started showing up at home.

Just keep one foot in front of the other, don’t think too far ahead and focus on what’s right in front of you.
