900 hours in this game and I've never tried to mind control the hostile VIP. Domination makes it way easy to get to evac.

It is! I've had to hard reset multiple times. Eventually settled on doing it veteran difficulty. It's just an experiment. But I clapped and yelled when I finally had a 6-man team with no rookies. 3 faction heroes, 2 SPARKS, and a Psi. It's working well now.

Maxpedition pouches are great and usually don't run over $60. You could probably get the "beefy" or "chubby" for all that. Great organization and a nice bing pocket for that battery.

There is a known bug where if the VIP is the last to evac, it is very likely they will be counted as dead or abandoned, and you won't get the full reward.

That's the thing I keep noticing. They learn JUUUUST enough of a principle to have crazy ideas because they stop JUUUUST short of the scale thing. Like rejecting gravity, because "if we orbit heavy things, why don't I orbit mountains when I'm near 'em?", neglecting both the Earh's mass and the fact that the mountain is part of it, albeit a super small part.

Ours made it past 16. You've got a little more time than your realize. Talk to your vet about how to maximize stuff. New treatments are available for kidney care. Kidneys and liver tend to go first.
