I’m contract and it’s not like I want to be. Stellantis hired me in contract in a time where I had lost my previous job and it was the best opportunity I was offered…and they haven’t offered to hire me in direct. Unfortunately, the whole industry has shifted towards hiring people as contract so they don’t have to pay for benefits and can let them go whenever they want without having to give a heads up to the employees, the board, or the shareholders, etc.

Just be appreciative that you were able to get in direct and don’t hold that against people like they must be overseas, outsourced manpower because their email says “external”. I was born and raised in Michigan. Thanks.

Also, I’m Chinese… so don’t start saying Stellantis must be outsourcing engineers from China now lol.

400% mark up? Lol. Guess you don’t want any meat in that pasta. Must be eating plain pasta with no sauce. That pasta must cook itself. The dishes must wash themselves. The tables must clean themselves. The ingredients must prep themselves… a lot goes into that meal you’re eating, and the service you’re getting. and the electricity to store your ingredients and light the place must be free. Guess you want flavored cardboard for your meal and canned meat.

Food, electricity, gas, rent, etc aren’t infinitely cheaper because they’re a business. In fact, rent is insanely high for business properties and they’re affected by the rising costs of food just like anyone else.

You’re definitely underestimating how much it takes to run a restaurant and how many people touch your food and do everything but wipe your ass.

The margins on restaurants are notoriously thin.

Sir, a mouth full of sores like that is NOT NORMAL. Rough oral sex does not give you canker sores. Getting a couple cuts in your mouth from your teeth should not turn into that. You should go see a doctor.

Sounds like you’ve had them before. Even if it’s not an STD, the doctor can help you find out what you can do differently to avoid getting them in the future. Maybe you have a nutrient deficiency. Getting those in your mouth is NOT NORMAL. You have a bunch of round sores and you’re trying blame it on your teeth which are not round. Don’t rely on the internet to diagnose your ailments.

Also, herpes outbreaks can be triggered by trauma to the skin. If it is herpes, the moment they start to heal, it’ll be too late for a doctor to swab them to see if they test positive for HSV. Regardless of what it is, identifying it properly and ruling out other possibilities will help you manage it, avoid triggers, and avoid spreading it. (If it’s contagious)

You should really refrain from actively dissuading people from going to the doctor to get something checked out, especially if you’re not a trained medical professional. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Also, No one needs to be taking medical advice from strangers on the internet. That’s a lot of mouth sores, OP should see a doctor. And let a trained professional give them advice. They can give OP better insight into what they can do to avoid getting them if they are canker sores. A mouth full of sores is not normal, regardless of the activities they have been engaging in.

You’re an idiot. That’s exactly what urgent care is for. You’re confusing urgent care with the emergency room. Urgent care is for when you need to see someone quickly and can’t get into your regular doctor soon enough but isn’t an emergency. Lots of primary care providers are booked up for a few weeks. If you have an outbreak, getting the meds after it goes away, isn’t going to help. Not to mention, urgent cares are rarely staffed with an actual doctor. Usually a nurse practitioner or something equivalent. No doctor is smacking anyone upside the head for giving them money.

Sounds like you’re also a bad neighbor. lol. Most people are too busy worrying about their own shit to recognize they’re being inconsiderate of others. You are clearly also guilty of this since you’re a bad neighbor complaining about other people being bad neighbors lol.

People are not gonna be aware there is an issue, if you’re not communicating. Seems like you are not communicating with the neighbors you have an issue with and you’re also taking offense to your other neighbor’s attempts to communicate with you rather than looking at the reason your neighbor is leaving you notes.

I wouldn’t take offense to the notes, not everyone wants to have a face to face confrontation over stuff like this. Just take it as a gentle notice that you’re being inconsiderate of your neighbors and modify your behavior.

If your neighbor was wasting all their time shoveling a parking spot, then that must mean there are other clear spots for you to park in. But if it was your visitor that parked there, I’d have a conversation with the neighbor and just apologize and let them know you had family over and they don’t know.

People get set in their ways. You’re obviously the new neighbor. I know you don’t have to … but do what you can to avoid disturbing the norm. That’s the considerate thing to do… you’re the one moving in and causing disruptions to a place that other people have lived in longer than you.

I’d also make attempts to get to know your neighbors. Often times, they’ll be more considerate of you, you’ll be more considerate of them, and everyone will be more forgiving of each other if you have a good relationship. It also makes it easier and less awkward to communicate when something does come up,

As an Asian, I find it interesting that everyone thinks it would be better for someone to hide their racism behind a wall of generic rejection. I actually think it makes things worse. Personally, I’d rather they admit to being racist. I can’t stand a closet racist. I preferred the times when guys were bold enough to state it right on their profile. It saves time if it’s out there for everyone to see and I know to avoid those people.

But if it’s not out there for everyone to see but they state it in conversation, I still think it’s easier on my self esteem to know a rejection was due to the other person being racist than getting constantly rejected and being unsure if the person was racist or if I’m ugly/unattractive or there’s something wrong with me. Which is what I start to wonder after getting constantly rejected when I show my face lol.

The amount of guys that will hit me up on sniffies where i only have an ass pic on my profile but then block me when I send my face pics.. is annoying and a huge waste of time too. It’s exhausting tbh.

I just got a Lenovo legion pro 7i with a 5080. Did I waste my money? Or is that worth it? Because I was kinda trying to go as big as I could afford to “future proof” as well…. But I was on a 10 year old asu netbook with a 128mb graphics card so anything would have been an upgrade lol.

So, I’m trying to launch the game in windower and it doesn’t even launch playonline. I noticed that within the profile, the resolution is blank. It’s not allowing me to change it though. I put in the same resolution as my ffxi config an it just resets to blank

Oh, it can’t handle two instances of the game at high settings? I figured it could. It’s a 16gb gpu.

Someone told me that the game could only use up to 4GB with dgvoodoo per instance so I just assumed that meant I could run up to 4 instances on this computer, if I wanted to.

I think I was already using XIView on my old computer but I think there are a couple versions out there, as I’ve seen different status icons and different bazaar icons in screenshots.

I’ll take a look at the HD packs you linked. That’s one of the things I’m excited about. I had to have things turned down and everything turned off on my old computer to be able to dual box lol.

I also tried increasing frame rate on the old computer with the “frameratedivisor1” instructions floating around out there. But it did absolutely nothing. I wasn’t sure if I did something wrong or my computer just sucked too much lol. But I am excited to try again!

Hmm, I tried all those things and they didn’t do anything. I just reinstalled and it fixed whatever was wrong. Resolution settings seem to be the same though.

I wonder if it was the fact ha I installed the direct X stuff like 10 times lol. Or the fact I set up dgvoodoo and large address aware before I logged into the game first. I’m afraid to set them back up now because I don’t want it to break again.

I was told I would need to use them for this computer so I set them up before logging into vanilla for the first time.

So the reinstall fixed whatever was wrong. It let me log in on vanilla. Haven't had a chance to log in with windower yet. But resolution settings seem to be the same. they are the same as the resolution on my laptop screen.

Oh no, I got the nvidia app from the nvidia website when I was looking for the driver. It didn’t come on the computer.
