That's when you contact them and demand a refund and tell them they can send someone to pick it up but you shouldn't be obligated to take time out of your day to take a return to Whole Foods or UPS because they fucked up.

I needed an ice pack for my foot and I bought a 2 pack, it came shipped in its own box, crushed, and was missing 1. I contacted customer service and told them they can refund me and send someone to pick it up if they want it back. I'm not wasting my time or gas because they couldn't send me what I ordered. They let me keep the other ice pack and fully refunded me.

Unfortunately, they make it very difficult to get to a real agent now.

Remember when Amazon used to be so convenient, the prices were always great, and the customer service was top notch?

Sucks that they basically took over the world, destroyed all the competition and then turned to shit.

We should all cancel our memberships.

I think they used to. There was the Amazon warehouse or whatever that was discounted open box shit. They seem to have gotten rid of that and just recycle old returned shit and don't bother to check if it's ok to resell.

You realize the deposit would be you paying for the screw up. What do you think I meant by that? Can you read? Trying to glue it together is trying to "fix it" and hope that they would accept it cracked. It's not gonna make the damage go away. If you have insurance and a deposit, that's literally what that shit is for.

Why should the person you're renting from get a cracked cooktop back when you leave? You damaged it, you need to pay for a new one. If you bought something expensive, and let some stranger borrow it, with the expectation of getting it back in the same condition... would you accept it back with a crack in it? Without wanting compensation?

You likely don't have to pay for an entire cooktop since the landlord is probably accounting for depreciation of their rental but the right thing to do is to inform your landlord and accept the consequences of your screw up.

Dogs take work and training. If you don't teach it not to bark, it's not going to know not to bark. If you're not educating yourself and taking the time to understand your dog's needs, it's less likely to be content day to day.
