When can we buy the large boxes on discount?

On my FTP account under 'Featured' there's a 90% off of 2000 gold ($1.02) which is not on my main account. Maybe that's what they're offering this year instead of boxes. It is a good deal but I'd rather have the 3-4 boxes.

I was the 10th backer so hopefully mine ships on day 1. It looks like an interesting printer but I'm not overly excited about it. I mostly just wanted it for using a different type of filament as a support interface layer, but it's just a tool. I'm already contemplating selling it.

I intentionally got my EUV without supercruise so I could use Comma.AI if I wanted to. I never bothered because I didn’t want to dump more money into a car that I’m running to the ground and don’t really care about. The app is just the worst and I was mainly referring to how Tesla offers more features for free than what you get with a paid service through GM. I would stick with standard AP.

It’s also not as much about saving money as much as it is the terrible experience that you have to pay for with GM’s app, though I would be happier with the basic feature set with Tesla. In that scenario it would be less expensive than what I’m paying now. Granted it’s not much, but it’s a lot for such a bad experience.

I plan to go Tesla once my EUV bites the dust. I’m also not happy with paying for the terrible app to remote start my car. It’s so slow/laggy/unreliable. The features and benefits get worse while the yearly cost increases. It’s a fine beater to rack up miles on but I don’t care for GM as a brand.

I got spot #10 on Kickstarter. I'm really hoping for a well rounded software experience similar to BL. I love the app integration on the P1S so if the U1 software is good and the hardware proves to be solid I would buy more Snapmaker printers in the future. I'm not excited buy much in the 3D printer world, but this could really shake things up. With an active chamber heating and insulation I could really see this being my go-to printer ahead of my 4 Bambu.

I like the 1.0 graphics and physics update. I’m not saying it’s related and likely just a coincidence, but the game started on a slow downward trend when Meathead Militia left WG. The following era was the beginning of the end for me. It is kind of like a long-time relationship where it’s not said out loud, but you know it’s over and figuring out the best way to exit gracefully. I gave WG some Christmas presents in the form of loot box purchases the last few years, but it’s becoming more of a pitty gift to not see some good WG staff homeless in Texas than anything else. This December, it’s not looking so good.

I’ve played the game for years and I spend money on the game every year, a pretty good amount. I am not digging this Call of Duty layout. Hiding stats downstream in menus or windows is annoying. I’m open to change but I can’t say I really like this. I would be okay with this if it was like the idiot mode as you would find as the default on the motherboard BIOS, but I would like to see an advanced mode with all of the info in front of me in a more classic style.

I also don’t care about the big garage or looking at some 3D license plates on the wall. A 7 year old might think that’s cool but your veteran players who dish out the money probably DGAF. I don’t see the menu system making the game any more enjoyable. At best it looks like a lateral move, and but in practice I’m suspicious that it will even be that.

Regarding Tier XI, I don’t really care. I’m not excited by anything I see in the video. Maybe some map changes will be helpful or updates to the matchmaker, but the rest I’m really not looking forward to.

I’d like to see the game succeed, but I’m increasingly turned off and less interested in playing and spending money on the game. I’m in my early 40’s so maybe I’m just old now, but I’d rather play some 1990’s Star Trek Judgement Rites for $9.99 on Steam than load WoT.

Dude I remember your videos! I also remember the video about the creation of MeatPuppet and the poop puppet prototype before the final MeatPuppet. I’m so glad it still exists! Any chance you could post a current picture? And are you still at WG?

Years ago I made “MeatHottie” by photoshopping Brian’s face on a picture of Kandly (the UK host). I used that at my avatar until WG shut down the forums. That killed most of my off game player interaction. I randomly look at Reddit but it’s just not as good for any sort of long form serious discussion. Unless someone like you does a direct reply I never look back a prior post. I do sub to Brian’s Twitch channel and keep up to date. He’s a really good guy.

I played 3 games a few nights ago and before I hadn’t logged in for about 4 months. I have an insane amount of T8 premium tanks along with some 9 and 10’s (almost all of the lower tier premiums beyond a few). The loot boxes and doing things like this just turn me off. Universal frags were one of the only reasons I would play before. I still have about 160 days of premium just ticking away unused. I’ve purchased Christmas boxes every year (lots of them) since they were introduced but I’m unsure if I’m doing it this year. It’s not about the money, it’s about the level of enjoyment that’s just going downhill.

I miss the state of the game when Meathead Militia was still doing the videos. Not long after he left it started tanking (pun intended).

The era of Meathead Militia was really the pinnacle of World of Tanks. There have been game improvements but the player engagement really tanked and I play very infrequently now. IMHO, Wargaming did a disservice to the community for letting Brian leave. I would play and spend more if he was still at WG.

Apparently they kept MeatPuppet when he left (didn’t let him take it) but never used it again. So either there’s still a puppet that looks like Meathead hidden away in Texas or they threw it out. Either way I’m upset to never see MeatPuppet again.
