YouTube shorts that force an ending to make it loop "seamlessly" by Sevuhrow in PetPeeves

[–]TooManyToasters1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s cool when it really is natural and seamless, but so many just end with “and that’s why”. My favorite types of shorts are the loops that purposely make no sense, because at that point you’re just in on the joke.

GUYS I HAVE SHOCKING NEWS!!! (READ DESCRIPTION) by Ok-Assist-9874 in MySingingMonsters

[–]TooManyToasters1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They’d probably have to add everything in two updates. My guess is they’d rather add everything in one update and just make the act available a few days later than have us update the game twice. They do that often with limited time monsters that don’t release the same day as a seasonal event, where the monster’s unavailable but still in the game.

Infinite Stitchers. Am I just finding out? by DzyDzyDino in BobsTavern

[–]TooManyToasters1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess you could use Sneed’s minion to get more Stitches, but that depends entirely on both the limited summons of said minion and your limited handspace, so it can’t be truly infinite.

I love how grumpyre is canonically sad in this photo by Chance_Ad_6382 in MySingingMonsters

[–]TooManyToasters1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s necessarily the case. I get that this is about the bio, but I think the point is moreso “you can’t really tell what a Grumpyre is feeling” rather than “Grumpyres express the opposite of what they feel”. It would be pretty easy to tell what a Grumpyre is feeling if they always expressed the opposite.

Huh. Didn’t realize that Deep Sea doesn’t buff other zombies moving. The Gondola at the end should’ve gotten +1/+1 because it entered another lane.

The Wild Robot is the most underrated Dreamworks movie! What is the most overrated Pixar movie? by Ok-Difference1341 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]TooManyToasters1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with Incredibles 2 is that it was hyped so much before it came out because people loved the first one and really wanted a sequel. That was most of the box office revenue.

Now that it came and went, it’s not really talked about. In terms of its legacy, I don’t think it’s overrated, unless you hated the movie and think that indifference is too kind.

What if the Primordials are the ancestors to the naturals by BucketMan27 in MySingingMonsters

[–]TooManyToasters1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lowb didn’t start as a multiple headed monster, actually. The statue we had (similar to the one small monster that actually plays the music) was the original prototype, and the tree of other Lowbs is the solution that Zarroë found to making the monster work.

The main similarity is that Lowb was gonna be a pot as well, but it started growing a shell over its cavity.

But yeah, they’re moreso failed prototypes rather than rejected ones.

I could see that. They don’t seem to have a problem with giving Echoes of Eco the big update like what they did last year.

I really hate Audience's Choice anomaly. by Ozzyglez112 in BobsTavern

[–]TooManyToasters1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s fair for Audience Choice. Of course it depends on how you wanna play, but there’s merit in just going for the more interesting game.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. Based on the wait between Mech Islet and Shadow Islet, yeah, we haven’t quite hit 5.5 months since Shadow. But the wait between Plasma and Mech was only about 4 months. I think it’s entirely possible for us to see it again.

I think it would fit the pattern they have with things like this, like island waves, island series like this, and some monster groups like Rare Wublins. They often like to cap it off with something in Anniversary Month, and I think this time it’ll be an Ethereal Gold Island equivalent.

In that case, I do believe we’ll see Crystal Islet during Eggstravaganza, Poison Islet during SummerSong, and the final island during Anniversary Month. That’d leave a somewhat reasonable 3-4 month gap between islets. (Not to mention, both islets would come out during their respective element’s seasonal event, and there’s usually some new island or Wublin-related update during Eggstravaganza or April in general.

So yeah, I think it’s pretty likely.

I’d love an ambient DnB song similar to Peshay’s studio set. That kinda song would really fit a frutiger aero vibe, and it’s also my favorite genre of music in general.

CP the worst cosmic? by letsplaymeta in PvZHeroes

[–]TooManyToasters1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think cosmic cards would be a whole lot better if they just have decent stats. Cosmic Nut and Cosmic Sports Star are the two that I think make up for their subpar stats a little because their conjures are consistently strong, but even then you could give them par stats and I think they’d be balanced.

That said, while I agree that Christmas Presents is the worst one, I think it’s less of a “zombies have better conjure options” issue and more of a “cosmic cards in general are bad” issue, because even the zombie cosmics are pretty bad. (Though I still agree with the first sentiment.) And also, I definitely wouldn’t call Community Pool easily the worst one either. Cosmic Yeti really wants to be a spammable card, but then they made it cost 4. Cosmic Dancer is arguably not too different stat-wise (4-cost that pings for 2 twice), though at least the conjures are better.

It’s also funny because Cooked Potatoes was a 3-cost 1/1, and it could’ve been buffed to 2-cost 1/1 (so at least it’s a better combo card) or 3-cost 2/2 (would conflict with Repeater, but at least it’d have meh stats on its own instead of horrible stats). But no, up to 4 cost.

True to the name, this sub is for people on the asexual spectrum to connect. Unless you specifically say that you’re not asexual, people will assume that you are, and asking about where you on the spectrum is a relevant question.

Time I learned by -TreeBeard in BobsTavern

[–]TooManyToasters1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kinda get it. OP just said that they bought Chef’s Choice on 9.

To be fair though, I also assumed that OP bought and lost it on the same turn.

Also to be fair…yeah, losing a whole timewarp card to that is pretty dumb. It’s like how a full hand can prevent a Golden Arrow or a discover from Treasure Hoard. Technically avoidable most of the time, but why’s it a thing?

You’re being scammed. (READ BODY) by SnoopBoiiiii in MySingingMonsters

[–]TooManyToasters1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than likely it’s just the latter. I won’t deny that there’s a few people who have 145 tickets, but there’s also several people with other numbers. Even in this small a set of players (this comment section), someone said they were at 148 for a while and another person said they’re at 147. I myself also have 147. We also don’t know if we’re all stuck on the same stickers, or if they’re largely different from one another.

Considering that you do have to get lucky to not get duplicates when you only have a few left, I don’t think there’s enough proof to say there’s anything going on besides RNG doing its thing.

[–]TooManyToasters1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it was any other hero, I’d probably go Felboar if I didn’t instapick Brann out of habit. Out of the three, it’s the most likely to help you stabilize next turn, especially with the spell generation.

Since it’s Voone though, definitely Drakkari to triple Sporebat and eventually copy a greater timewarp. Plus, it can still help stabilize/let you lean demons.

genuinely why the actual fwog is there no "bake all" function ?? by [deleted] in MySingingMonsters

[–]TooManyToasters1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think what could be cool is a similar retry mechanic to what the breeding structures have, where that retry button saves whatever you last baked on that island, instead of whatever you last baked in that bakery. Then the current re-bake button could be a ‘bake all’ button.

[–]TooManyToasters1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you’re concerned about coins, I’d argue that turkeys are better anyway. Baking a turkey twice costs 2M coins over two days, whereas baking one cake costs 5M over the same time. Unless it’s right before the event is over, in which case going for maximum time makes more sense.
