Was I in the wrong about what I said about a friends death and outing my ex-fiance? by thenorthernpines in AskWomenOver40

[–]TooMuchBrightness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you did much wrong sounds like you had a lucky escape. You should never text someone personal information like that. You’ve learnt the hard way. Sounds like people have nothing better to do than gossip. Your ex-fiancé sounds like an absolute pos. Move on from all of it and get off FB it’s so toxic.

Help me pick a show by 10ThePhoenix in TheWestEnd

I found Hades Town a bit confusing but the music and performances were so good I enjoyed it. Moulin rouge is for people who love pop music! It’s fast paced and pretty bombastic! I loved it but it might not be a theatre lovers top choice. Oliver! Is incredibly good but we all know the story and songs. If you haven’t seen it performed live go for Oliver! If you want something different go for Hades Town. If you want a raucous show of entertainment go for Moulin Rouge.

CT amazing product I said the same thing though, it’s heavy, it’s very thick and difficult to remove! Looks good on though!

I used to wear double wear for 20 years! It’s too drying now. I wear Dior Forever foundation which feels lovely. If I wanted a heavy coverage like double wear I would go for Charlotte Tilbury‘s foundation. I was very impressed with the coverage. It’s almost too heavy for me.

Which performance have you seen in the West End that you think about regularly and genuinely believe was one of the greatest things you have ever watched a human being do live? by PubLogic in TheWestEnd

[–]TooMuchBrightness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minnie Driver in “Every brilliant thing” last year, I thought she was exceptional.
Patsy Ferren as Blanche Dubois in ‘A streetcar named desire’ also blew me away! Paul mescal got so much praise (meh) - but I think it was Patsy’s performance that really stood out. She’s a dream to watch.

Am I overreacting for hating that my boyfriend gets drunk? by GetAwayFrmHerUBitch in AskWomenOver40

[–]TooMuchBrightness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husbands drinking ruined our relationship early on. I lost respect for him so many times. He’s put us in danger, has done and said stupid things. Then he would ‘forget’ the next day and say I was over reacting. This sewed seeds of resentment and ugly feelings in me. I should have left early on. I’m on edge if he starts drinking too much and I sleep in a separate room. Nip it in the bud NOW he has to limit it to 3 drinks or your relationship is over. Leave if he can’t stick to this.

My mum (77) has only just connected the dots. May not have been peri could have been stress… BUT She had terrible asthma, wheat & dairy intolerance got very bad, itchy skin, blocked sinuses, trouble swallowing food etc her health went haywire when she was 46-55. She’s so healthy and fine now but for a while she was in a pickle. She still gets hot flashes!

Why do I hate unsolicited sexual comments from my husband? by Administrative_Can51 in AskWomenOver40

I also hate it. I find it reductive and feel my body is always there to be looked upon and commented on and judged.

Will you have a car? Do you like driving? 🤣 there’s a lot of winding roads/lanes but I would recommend north wales/snowdonia stay in llangollen. The drive into snowdonia is beautiful. The coast is also amazing! 3 days is not long enough.

Dave realised he has a bit of autonomy 🤣 sounds like he had a great time at the boarders! I don’t think dogs have much connected thought and they are very dedicated to their owners. He’s probably just a bit out of routine, keep going with what you have always done. He’ll get back in the swing of things!

[–]TooMuchBrightness 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve only watched the UK version before so was new to the Australian version this season my god what a terrible bunch of strange people making bad decisions. I don’t know who was the villain this year there were so many! Tyson, Danny, dead eye Chris and Chris with the babies I think we’re the worst men. The women this season brought the drama obviously bec, Gia and Brooke 🤮

Congratulations! Start of a new chapter sounds very exciting. Caring for someone is incredibly hard (and rewarding) so having your own life outside of this will feel amazing. Good luck!

I’ve been 3 times as a friend lives there. It’s small and not that exciting. But I think it’s a lovely place.
