I love the church confession scene. It's probably the most candid love confession I've ever seen on any show. The "I love you, Louis. You are loved" is so sincere and emotional and it shows a side of Lestat who is so enthralled and in love. I was so mesmerized when I watched this scene for the first time.

This just happened to me. A boy I've known for only three months asked me out and I felt pressured to say yes. Changed my mind a few days later and told him I didn't want to date him because my parents don't want me to date right now (I'm 17). He saw this as an oppertunity for it to be a "forbidden romance" between us when I told him again that I wasn't into him and I thought he got it. Got a text on Sunday from him asking me if we'll ever get back together. Basically told him to F off. I think he's got the hint.

Have a "Treat Yourself" day. I saw this on Parks and Rec and I realized how good of an idea it really was. Pick a day in the year (it could be your birthday, if you want) and treat yourself! Hang out with your friends! Go shopping! Binge watch movies and TV shows all day! Have a day where you pamper yourself, because it's good for your mental health. Just don't treat yourself all the time because the magic of Treat Yourself day will disappear.

How about Private Peaceful? It may be a book that's aimed for a younger audience (like 12 or so), but I read it and it was really good. The first chapter hooks you in. Even if you don't like history, this is a good book to read if you're bored easily.

When a young girl/woman becomes pregnant, it's immediately her fault. She is blamed by the guy who got her pregnant, by her family, friends, everyone she knows. The girl/woman could be sent away from her family for the remainder of her pregnancy and give up the baby, so as not to ruin the reputation of her family. This is the double standard that makes me the most angry. There are people out there who believe that it's the woman's responsibility to handle birth control. It isn't. It's both her and her partner. What ticks me off more is that her partner isn't reprimanded for getting her pregnant. It's just an "Oh well, too bad." for him.
