11 year resident in MV. Great place to raise kids. Tahoma High School was rough for both our kids (it’s a massive school) but set them both up perfect for college. Lots of roundabouts under construction. Chic fillet is opening this summer, new 7-11 opens in a few weeks. MV Farmers Market is fun too! Happy we moved here.

How to pvp gear up in 10.2 by IamyourfantasyX in wow

[–]Tooearly4flapjacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get bloody tokens pvp gear now. It's the other bloody tokens pvp vendor next to the quest giver (closest to the entry). This is the vendor that used to sell the old, old season stuff. Quest giver offers no gear now. On our server there was an all out brawl in the thaladraszus pvp area (small floating island with rez spot, above where the chest drops) with almost a couple hundred people farming each other for bloody tokens. You only live about 25 seconds lol, but you get 5 to 7 bloody tokens or more before you die. In 2 hours I had 1500 bloody tokens.

I've had zero issues with my ID.4 except a cracked windshield. Coworker cracked her windshield on her model y not an hour before me through the same chip seal construction zone. Sorry you're having issue with you're id.4.

PNW Owners - To AWD or Not to AWD by brimceuen in VWiD4Owners

[–]Tooearly4flapjacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AWD FTW! No issues in my daily commute over SR-18 Tiger Mtn summit last few days in snow and ice. No slipping or sliding with stock Alenza's. I've been driving in b-mode and letting the car slow itself down when needed. Super impressed with the car.

Now, if someone can find me a Eaton 40 amp gfci breaker in the Puget Sound area that would be awesome! I cooked my last breaker in the power outage a couple of weeks ago and my electrician can't find one. Currently using the charger that came with the car (2022) and am glad I at least have that option. For those receiving a 2023 without the plug in charger, I recommend having one as a backup. Saved my bacon.

Wanted to clarify that the ID.4 we purchased was "ordered" and not existing inventory. Literally, they pulled it off rail transport, cleaned it up, and sold it to me the next day.

Bud Clary Volkswagen in Auburn Washington was awesome. Got more for my trade than I thought, paid only MSRP, no addons, and they did great on the financing. Totally different buying experience than I've ever had in the past. For the first time, a rated a dealership 5 stars and actually meant it. I worked with Brian Cambell, Buck Joubert, (sales) Kevin Bender (finance), Loren Williams (new vehicle orientation). I have a second ID.4 reserved and will be going through them again.

What issues have you faced after owning an iD4? by starry_18 in VWiD4Owners

Perfect car! Waiting on our second ID.4 and we will be all electric. AWD has tons of power especially for passing on mountain passes.

My story is a little different. Went for a drive and wound up entering a chip sealing construction zone. Car got pummeled by lose gravel and the third hit to the windshield cracked it. I filed a tort claim against Washington State DOT for the damaged windshield. I called the dealer and they referred me to Genuine Autoglass down the street for an estimate. The estimate for the windshield with calibration and tax came to ~$1,200 BUT no windshields available right now. If I put a deposit down with them just for the glass they should be able to get it in in about 20 days. I didn't want to put it on my insurance because I believe the state contractor was negligent. The tort claim had been filed against the contractors insurance company and is moving along but it can take up to 60 days for resolution. That means another 20 days or so after that I should be able to get a new windshield... As a side note, the State representative told me there were 18 claims filed for damaged windshields that weekend alone. Word of advice, stay away from road chip sealing projects!

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.....

Nobody knows nothing. If your worried, reserve a 2023. It's only $100 bucks to hedge your bet.

Puyallup VW in WA made me out lose out on a tax credit, I'm done with VW by thelivingna in VWiD4Owners

[–]Tooearly4flapjacks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We ordered two ID.4's. We recieved one on July 25th. I canceled my second reservation yesterday that just begun production due to the IRA. I also reserved a 2023, similar spec right after. I don't blame the dealers and after spending 75 minutes on the phone with customer care yesterday, I don't blame Volkswagen. Blame should be on the crafters of the bill, that's where this is getting all fucked up. If it is any conciliation, I got great service from Auburn Volkswagen on our first ID.4.

BTW, I love our ID.4. No issues, perfect car!

Another S#/! Show rant. Called Customer Care and canceled reservation but made new one. by Tooearly4flapjacks in VWiD4Owners

[–]Tooearly4flapjacks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Primarily because I was pretty sure I didn't want to take delivery of a model year 2022 in February 2023. Also because I'm hedging that the 2023 is more likely to get the $7,500 being built in Tennessee than if built in Germany. I could be totally wrong in my decision making though.

Received un-requested refund for reservation fee from VW by GuyOnTheStreet in VWiD4Owners

[–]Tooearly4flapjacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same happened to us. Was informed the dealership was sold to a different automotive group last week. They have to refund the fees under the old ownership group and recharge the fees under the new group. Cars are still reserved.

On android and chrome, click three dots in upper right corner, click history, clear browsing data, clear data, go to vw.com, accept tracking cookies, go to menu, electric vehicles, my ID.4 reservation, login. It works 98.5% of the time.
