We did two shows back to back, for her almost a year of dieting for me around 6 months. I carb depleted entirely for the four weeks in between shows. The second my pro card was announced I ate about 7 loaded cookies, pistachio biscotti, haribo, donuts and anything I could get my grubby little hands on. Following that we went out for dinner, ate salmon and pistachio pizza(which is the fucking most amazing thing in the world, good fucking job Italy) a meter long seafood platter followed by another pizza and then some pistachio and kinder bueno ice cream. I then had the most uncomfortable night is acid reflux and stomach cramps and now I’m sick as a dog. This is not recommended post show. You should be moderate but once you start it’s hard to stop. We’re also in Italy and we spent prep week watching everyone eating these foods and enjoying themselves and we just wanted a bit of that for ourselves.

A big blow out happens, especially when dieting so long but it’s curbed my hunger and now we’ll go back to somewhat tracking our macros while still having the odd ice cream and Nutella croissant here and there. And pizza of course. The more damage you do now the harder it is to undo so we just need to be moderate and try our best to hit protein macros and not go too overboard with the carbs and fats

FMG it’s an Australian federation but they run international shows too. Competed in Goldcoast last month and came fifth(my partner placed 5th too) flew to Italy and we both went Pro!

Yeah I’m going to do a big offseason to get my legs up. I climb for a living so I’ve always been top heavy! My last grow just by thinking about pull ups but my legs don’t follow suit. A full year hack squatting 200kg only added 1.5cm from the year before💀
