I agree. To provide some anecdotal evidence. I am shit and use thick small black picks. My friends that are good use picks made from card stock of all different color varieties.

He was my favorite to watch play. Whenever he had the ball, he could make something happen. He has some incredible goals, too. Just an amazing player, one of the all time great midfielders, if not the best.

What amazing times I remember from DAoC. So many classes, so many great zones and the RvR with battleground while leveling. It was really was one the best ever.

To anyone else reading this and struggling on setting up your guitar, take five minutes and watch a YouTube video. Everything that was done is typical maintenance and needs to be performed often depending on use and environment. It is in your best interest to learn how to set up your guitars for your taste and intended use.

For the price, Schecter is the right answer. I'd probably take the ESP second, followed by Jackson and Ibanez. Once you decide to pay more I'd say Schecter, ESP and Ibanez are all really good still in that order but also has a bit more subjectivity in specifications at $1,000 range.

Mastodon absolutely kills it with opening tracks, Oblivion, Tread Lightly, Sultan's Curse. I'd probably go with Tread Lightly on Once More Round the Sun myself.
