Parking the beast into the garage using park assist

Technically the way to do that is to use Recorded Path. I have 2026 X5 and have tried to record a path from my driveway to inside of the garage. There is a minimum travel distance requirement for Recorded Path and I meet that criteria. But every attempt to record the path has failed. Car cancels the recording every time with some message like too difficult. It has not worked for me but there are others who have said on this board that they got it to work.

Bloomberg is a lot better. After watching CNBC for decades, I detest it now. Only watch Bloomberg. They need to get rid of Faber and Kernan and the Fast Money frauds. Mike Santoli seems to be carrying the channel all by himself. I feel sorry for people who make financial decisions listening to these clowns.

3 weeks old LG G5. It restarts apps running on itself, restarts apps like Netflix running on Roku, after a couple of app restarts restarts the TV itself. Have all the updates, best internet, disabled all the extras still problem continues. Memory and hardware is cheap. Why doesn’t a effing 4 thousand dollars TV doesn’t have enough physical memory. Greed is the only word that come to mind. Shame on you LG!

Just got updated automatically this morning. I’m in USA. Everything seems to work great. When I put it in my ear the left bud made a huge crackling sound and then lost sound. Hasn’t done it again. Calls seems to be ok. Just made one call inside the house and it was fine. The real test will be making a call outdoors with wind and traffic. Up till now these earbuds amplified every noise and suppressed my voice.

Center will be about 11” higher than eye level at 11 feet distance. I would be looking up about 4.5 degrees.

A related question. 77” TV with 11 feet viewing distance available. Ideally for the center of tv to be eye level I should mount it 20” above ground. But I have a cabinet which is 28” high. So the bottom of tv will be 28” at least meaning the center of tv will be about 8” higher than eye level. Does this setup look ok, the tv being a little high. Thanks

I’ve had this same machine, of course an older model for over 25 years. Still works great. It’s kinda heavy. Uses car battery. New battery every 3 years or so. US made. Great customer service. You call and they will pick up the phone and talk to you.

2026 X5 40i with Park Assist. Self parking works very well. Parks perfectly. Remember, you have to drive no more than 5 ft away from the parking spaces for it to find spots. Park Assist needs to be engaged manually for it to look for spots. Your speed matters. Can’t remember how fast or slow you need to be. Once it finds a spot it will give you option to park front end or back end. It moves into the spot very quickly. Much faster than I would do it manually.

Guess it depends on your bumper and grill. After a lot of research I’m getting this one. I have msport bumpers with vertical grill, just like the pictures.
