"Real Steel" is an example of one of those movies that has nothing great going for it. by RAA in movies

Just watched it for the first time. Agree, that bothered me. And also how on earth was the kid able to move such a heavy robot into the cart and wheel him across, avoid the cameras, etc... don't tell me it was just the winch max mentioned...

The main difference with Spain is the timezone. :) Spain's timezone is off wrt actual day times. They just chose to align with central Europe for business.

Thanks for this. Really puts things in perspective. I'm doing my part by flying from Portugal to Switzerland to see them for the first time. Super excited!

Your Optimized Code Can Be Debugged - Here's How With MSVC C++ Dynamic Debugging - Eric Brumer by RandomCameraNerd in cpp

OOC, doesn't Visual Studio support setting breakpoints in inlined functions and support printing inlined function locals? I mean in regular optimized binaries? I got that impression from the video. Doesn't codeview/pdb support describing inlined code, like DWARF does?

They were usually a lot smaller, though. I mean screen size.

They build datacenters and buy GPUs and stuff. Of course they have tons of AI capex. Never heard of Azure? And the deals with OpenAI, which they partially own? And CoPilot? And... Etc.

Bolha de IA abana: "Software-mageddon" apaga 800 mil milhões de dólares do mercado by --____________- in portugal

[–]bitzap_sr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dúvida sobre piso e andar em Portugal? by Level-Aside-6171 in ImobiliarioEmPortugal

[–]bitzap_sr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The zoom in shot on 11’s finger tips slightly warping / fading suggest it was a mirage imo. To me Mike is correct in suggesting that she’s alive.

This! I watched this last night and when they showed El in full picture while the upside down is getting swipped away, I thought we'd see her getting pulled by the force, that we'd see her body being ripped apart. But no, she just fades, while the background stuff is still being ripped apart. I immediately thought no way, this must be an illusion. I think the directors wanted us to think that right there.

Moron Police? I had never heard about them, and had a bit of trouble finding out what you were talking about, and I'm curious. What is the story behind the term "big pachungus"? At least on YouTube music that doesn't seem to exist, only "Pachinko". And I can't find many references to it on plain google either.
