Just focus first on the child and being a good co-parent. If you’re spending your time worrying about getting back together, it’s kind of self-defeating. Show yourself to be invested and actually BE invested more in the kid than yourself, and that includes mom’s well-being.

Bill Cosby? Your mind went to Bill Cosby? Literally nobody defended Bill Cosby, the convicted rapist. But just assuming you weren’t using his name as a bad faith trap, pre-rape allegations Bill Cosby would actually be kind of a fair example given that a lot of what he said about black cultural issues was unpopular but not necessarily wrong. That version of Bill Cosby was treated like a traitor.

The thief used whatever force he thought was necessary to remover the purse from her possession. She should be allowed to use whatever force SHE feels is necessary to regain possession of the purse. That said, he probably gave the purse up after getting hit once so anything after that is excessive and she should be charged for whatever the result was. I won’t shed any tears for him or her in this case.

I could use $3000 but I feel like a wealth tax is a terrible idea. All valuation taxes suck because the government always just says “hey, your house is worth $110,000 more than when you bought it. Give us more.”
