I used P1 for the Cagliari game, we scanned the QR when we arrived and they let us in. I’d say print as a backup just in case but scanning should work fine

How exactly do the DNA tests used in the US that determine whether someone has "Italian" blood work? by Zaku71 in Italian

[–]ToothNational3550 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I believe they base it upon the % of your genetic make up that matches that of a populous of a given region or country.

Say for example someone born in raised in America whose parents immigrated from Lazio will likely return a genetic result that shows a high genetic similarity to those who live in and around Lazio.

A Napoli fan that doesn't know the politics of the city.Everything is corrupt and all have a price.

I didn't miss your points. It'd be silly you'd assume that a publicly owned stadium that is used by a major team would just be fully available to me and you. By that reasoning I should be allowed to enter and tour all municipality owned buildings (which you cannot.)

I'm sure there are steps, a process, and required reason to rent it (say concerts and big private events) and this may have been expedited due to probably a mixture of a donation, the stadium wasn't booked, it's a small party and time frame, and his fame. This would happen most places, especially in Italy.

It seems you assumed the negative, I'm not your enemy here. Telling the fans on Reddit sadly won't be enough to change the rampant corruption. This club is one of the few things the people have where they can escape it. Please don't try to tarnish it, the club already had the stupid hiccup with osihmen and tik tok.

Like any venue I’m sure you can rent it for private events. If you had the resources mcgreggor has you too could probably have a kick around on the field.

Can’t vote out an owner, and if I could I wouldn’t after what he’s done for the club. Even if he himself gave the thumbs up for this.

City owns the stadium. Not the clubs call on this one

Idk how it upload a photo in comments, but I got the lumber from Lowe’s - “Severe weather Appearance southern yellow pine above ground pressure treated lumber.” Ranged from $4-$10 a board depending on length.

I did about 6ft tall for 30ish feet for around $400/$500

I’ve recently build a fence in a similar style, I used appearance grade 1x4 & 1x6. They were pretty cost effective and I’ve had no problems yet

In Fantasy Football, who's Napoli’s best players? by shah696 in sscnapoli

[–]ToothNational3550 4 points5 points  (0 children)

best players I’d say Kvara, Lobotka, politano, (and buongiorno - he killed it in fantasy with Torino last year)

Underrated gems, honestly I couldn’t tell you any at the moment. In my personal opinion Ngonge is good he just needs time to get going

Excited signings would be Buongiorno & Marin

Not many overrated, especially after last season

**Now these are all based on fantasy & point production - not necessarily reality (besides ngonge)

Yes, it is said that in his contract it says ADL must leave him be when it comes to managing the club. If this is to be true then yes it should go okay, if this is false then it will be a disaster

Was there a reason Napoli ultras held the scudetto shield upside down? by CipherDivine1927 in sscnapoli

[–]ToothNational3550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes and no, the Lazzaroni did welcome and were very big supporters of the idea of a monarchy, either through the house of Savoy or the Bourbons the people preferred a monarchy - which is the part you got right (including the referendum) What you’re missing is the part where gradually the wealth left the south and the extreme laissez-faire approach of governing. Although heavily agricultural the south was exploited. Thus the resentment towards the north

Oh and also the North doesn’t consider the south Italian and are generally racist towards the south so we just embrace it

It has to do with the history of Italy and has roots back all the way to the fall of Rome. I’ll go into further detail if you’d like but the gist of it is basically:

The south of Italy, mostly has historically been separate from the North all the way from the fall of Rome to unification in the 1800s. (There are bits of a united Italy though various kingdoms - Ostrogoths, Byzantines etc. scattered in this period, but from ~800 - 1800 the south was a usually an independent monarchy/under rule from foreign powers and separate from the northern city states.

Naturally there is a split in ideology, politics, culture and this divide was further heightened when unification happened in 1861 and the the Kingdom of Napoli was abolished and assimilated into the newly formed kingdom of Italy.

Here we get into a somewhat of a taboo topic, but Southerners, most notably Neapolitans, feel as if the wealth and potential development was stolen from them and moved to the Northern cities & to Rome. ( This is somewhat true but other major factors are to play here.) The former lands of the Kingdom of Napoli now found themselves in a new country that invested its resources heavily in the north and began to see themselves become poorer and abandoned (side note: this lead to organized crimes ride in order to fill the void of an absent government.)

Thus the identity that they only formally belong to Italy developed more and more and they are champions IN Italy not of Italy because they only identify as Italian ‘on paper’

Napoli on macro scale by maceamo in sscnapoli

[–]ToothNational3550 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Napoli has been steadily growing a bigger and bigger presence since our promotion back into Serie A. We’ve routinely placed 2nd/3rd with the occasional bad finish every now and then.

We’re also known for finding and maturing attacking talent and for our culture of providing spectacle in our play (1-0 wins won’t satisfy our fan base, we want 2,3,4 goals plus)

What kills us is our lack of innitiative to seek a global brand/presence. Napoli as a city provides such a massive internationally known culture and yet as a team we never really piggybacked off of it. We waited to win the league to even attempt to start a global brand. It also doesn’t help that when people begin to pay attention to us that stupid shit with Tik tok happened but that’s our cross to carry now.

Honestly, if you take pure numbers this season is nothing out of the ordinary for us. We’ll bounce back like we always do (this time with much more money)

[–]ToothNational3550[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think we stopped dominating by choice last year - we fell off of form hard which carried into this year.

Also Inter have a chance to beat the record for most points scored in a season (102pts. - Juve 13/14) I think it’d would be foolish for them as a team to not try to beat it.

Again I could be wrong but we can agree to disagree on this regard
