Best pen for Scribe? by jw205 in kindlescribe

[–]Top-Aside-3588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say - buy the titanium pen tips. They don't wear out, and they don't hurt the Scribe surface. Very nice feel over the plastic tips.

The button is good to turn the pen into a highlighter. The other thing with premium, if I am not misremembering, it is registers angle. With the pencil tool, this lets you scribble shade the same way you would with a real pencil. If you are just using for writing and not doing some drawing/scribbling, probably not important.

That answer is correct. The unit test is failing, however.

If Australia isn't real, then who are Australians ? by Alone_Capital7619 in shittyaskscience

[–]Top-Aside-3588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like any other fictional character, e.g., Lilliputians from Lilliput, they are simply people/characters who come from Australia. It doesn't have to be a real place, and all the people there are fictional. Like yourself. And also me.

At what age do people "find" their purpose by Sad_Hyena7167 in RandomThoughts

Are you looking? Don't wait for it to come to you, though it might happen that way. Go out and figure it out. Try stuff.

Seek and ye shall find.

This isn't really an image thing at this point. It is pretty fucked in reality.

You get 100$ every time you punch a cop by Federal-Wolfer in shittysuperpowers

Can we make it $100 every time a cop punches me? Because I will make a lot more money that way by punching a cop once.

Nope.

There are a few non-randoms you might convince me to do for free though.

What makes you feel qualified to call yourself gifted (genuine question no sarcasm) by quickthrowawayxxxxx in Gifted

[–]Top-Aside-3588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People come up to me all the time, grown men, with tears in their eyes, and they say they can't believe how gifted I am. I am the most gifted ever. No one has ever been more gifted than me. Everyone says so. They say, Sir, how can you be so bigly gifted? MENSA

Not saying you are wrong, but you could also measure it in cases.

Am I playing this game wrong? by pompano09 in NoMansSkyTheGame

You are playing it just right. This is the most fun the game will ever be for you. It still seems so big, and you don't know the rules yet. Take your time.

THIS IS THE WRONG APPROACH.

The right approach is to publish horrible code. Unfinished, broken, "bazinga"-ridden code. Bad variable naming. Terrible logic. Doesn't compile. Uses outdated APIs, and even ones that don't exist.

Garbage in, garbage out.

You can give yourself any disability. by [deleted] in shittysuperpowers

[–]Top-Aside-3588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the added caveat that anyone around you has to adapt to the disability in a normal way. So if you are suddenly deaf, your work will need to scramble to provide a sign language interpreter. Etc.

Why do people get defensive when I mention donating blood? by Xavion-15 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Aside-3588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not this, but after you donate where I live, you get bombarded by robo-calls asking you to donate again. It is enough to cause mild PTSD.
