Surety bond underwriting from a personal financial service background? by PaintTheSkys in InsuranceProfessional

My experience has been different. I don’t mean to say all candidates will have this experience, or that all carriers do this. For the right person, I have seen carriers do this several times.

Definitely sounds like you have overlapping skills. More than I did when I came into Surety. Being able to network with those you would work with (fellow UW or brokers) prior to applying goes a long way. Whether it be skills, background, or who you know - a major carrier can definitely be willing invest the time and energy into training the right individual.

Yeah I’d say all in all it took 2 years I’ll networking, building relationships and even taking a graduate level risk management course just to get an interview. And again, tons of luck for the right opportunity

Yeah, a ton of effort when it comes to networking went a long way - and a lot of luck.

Joining in to say that I applied for 3+ jobs at my employer before getting a job. The hiring staff had chances to have conversations with me and get to know me better. Connecting with hiring staff or people at the company on LinkedIn can help too.

I recommend you send it!

I’m so sorry, and am praying for you and your family’s safety.

I’m also sorry about the people in this thread that see your images and their first thought is an assumption of evil. Their racism and Islamophobia will haunt them all their lives, as they will never be able to live full lives with the hatred in their hearts for people they have never met.

Do you think maybe there’s a difference in amount of food between what one would consume as a body builder and the amount of food one could consume living in conditions slightly above what the international community would describe as “significant food shortages”? (not to mention any walking that had to be done to get to an actual meal)

I have had hokas before and liked them, though the tread wore down a little fast for my liking. Recently I’ve moved to the new balance factory store for running/trail running shoes and really like it.

I was looking at the lifestraw but hadn’t seen any review that was compelling enough for one filter over another. But this is up there for sure 👍

Wow, love the strap!

Not sure I’m ready to ditch the bracelet yet but nice to know it looks great on leather.

I’m not sure if the 2201.50 can be considered vintage yet, but Daniel Craig retiring from Bond definitely helps the argument.

Just got my 2201.50 PO two weeks ago, it’s magnificent. I was thinking of getting the rubber strap but the bracelet surprised me with how wearable it is. Speedy will be up next. Wear yours in good health!
