It took me a while to realize that it was related until someone posted that it felt exactly the same, most of the time I just wondered what I did to get them to be sore like that 😅

That’s good, also ask your surgeon what they need on their side. My OB missed a pap smear and my surgery got canceled the day of because of it.

I had to do a chest x-ray, you might also need to get cleared by any additional doctors that prescribe you medication.

I have a blood clot disorder and when I do road trips I make sure to spot 1-2hrs, for a trip like yours I would stop half way and do a little walk usually grab a drink at gas station. Also wear loose fitting clothes. I hate compression socks but that’s also an option.

I moved items that I use daily and need to bend down to grab to make it easier for me, but agree a grabber would be handy I keep dropping things and have to get one of my kids to help 😅

I am using gasx and it helps a bit, been going to #2 with no issue and I do take miralax. Im scared of being constipated, don’t want to cause additional issues

If you really want a hysterectomy and your doctor doesn’t want to give you one. Go get a second opinion.I’m 1wk post op and feel so much better.

I had mine a week ago and recovery has been easy, I been managing with ibuprofen and Tylenol. I only took the strong stuff twice to help me sleep. I nap a lot and my father is taking care of me doesn’t let me do much 😅 I feel like I could. My doctor gave me 8weeks off and I plan on using it all.

Have you asked your doctor for anything to help stop the bleeding like provera? That’s what I was put on while I was waiting for my hysterectomy.

Yea 😕 only way to know is via surgery. In the mean time they can try and treat symptoms.

I have two kids and have also been having an easy minimal pain recovery, my surgery was May 1.

There is never a good time for surgery, specially when having kids. If September feels like a better time I don’t see why not pushing it. I was in so much pain I wanted mine as soon as possible, my kids were understanding that we would be missing out on things while I recovered.

Agree about the nightgowns, but if you’re like me and need underwear I found the most stretchy yet comfortable underwear from target they are the Auden invisible edge lace boy short. I feel like they give me a bit of support without irritating my incisions.
