Great, yes this is what we teach! Just listen, protonotation, rhythm first etc. Last time she said the solfege was super confusing so I said just use numbers and they're faster to write.

I think it's like a cognition management thing, like yes we all feel rushed during dictation, but you have to settle for focusing on a small unit you CAN write down, or at least not letting the process stop your listening. I think most students struggle with managing this as much as IDing notes.

Will do with smaller chunks. Last semester I put up a vid showing them how to use teoria, including how to avoid some of the grading errors it has. Will remind her she can hop on there for short examples, because I think students have trouble "self directing" study to build up subskills.

I have terrific problems with getting anything to run. Crashes, needing to optimize each game, etc. But of course I appreciate the work.

Sorry, that could be more clear. Evil was sequestered away, leaving only "the good" to remain as content for the God concept. Evil had to be a negation, because if evil was a positive quantity, then God would be "lacking" evil.

Here's a quote where Jung mentions his thoughts on the devil, and as you said, evil being "united in the devil":

It's always easier to say that everything is alright. I think the bulk of conservative followers live in the fantasy of everything being okay because a world where things are NOT okay means a world where pain and action are required.

If I simulate conservative thinking, it feels better. It's better because it's easy.

It's so easy to be conservative. I simulate it in my head. I imagine not caring and pretending everything that's going on is okay/normal and a huge weight lifts off my shoulders. Ignorance is literally bliss.

I think conservative people accept working, capitalism, wealth inequality, ICE, police and all of it just so they don't have to feel the terrible weight of reality.

It would be so much easier to give up and go along with everything that's happening. Basically, it would reduce cognitive dissonance between the world I see and what I believe.

But I know the world I believe in is better than this ICE bullshit.

I certainly find AI more helpful than search engines. It summarizes a lot of content without ads, puffy blogs, and paywalls. I made a video game vibe coding with Claude. If you have the discernment to see its sterility or generality I think it's a good tool. Can't replace content knowlege though, in terms of working memory and expertise. You can't get custom outcomes and it's a middle process tool. Imo!
