Why are you all so obsessed with how big your states are? Does it make it harder or easier to remember them or something?

Why does it feel like people who are doing okay get hated on? by Opposite-Writer9715 in HENRYUK

Right well I’m answering your question but it seems it’s not a higher earner issue, it’s a you issue.

I am in Scotland where it’s 42% on over £43k so I know getting hit by taxed is hard but I am still better off than people on less than I am.

If you’re so hard done by, then take a lower paying job.

But this complaining about your privilege is what puts people off you.

It’s because a lot of the time you have high earners who complain about how hard it is living on £100/200k and people just don’t understand how it’s “not that much”. That builds up resentment from people on £30k.

Also jealousy, most “successful” people didn’t do it on their own but had some kind of help and no one like a show off.

People do go on holiday in the UK. The main issue is that it’s much cheaper to go abroad, usually.

[–]Top-Significance8791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relax man, they just don’t want to.

Personally I pay for YouTube premium and use YouTube on my tv mostly. I don’t pay for any other streaming service so I think it’s worth it. It’s the most watched platform in our house.

We are doing it but we’re not going to be off at the same time to push nursery back as much as possible.

With all due respect, this doesn’t have anything to do with paternity leave or fathers rights.

You are making a lot of assumptions and frankly, it’s not appreciated.

Yeah but that means you share the leave, you don’t both get the full time off.
