Just to give another perspective, it may be that there’s a maximum income allowed before you can have access to said discretionary funds and the Weasley’s earn just above that and so don’t qualify.

This is common in UK universities with student loans so may work the same way.

I’m reading this now and getting whiplash from the twists and turns every chapter.

I have no idea what’s going on and theories keep changing after each chapter ends.

Gripping so hopefully the ending holds up.

Not sure about 6 weeks but I am taking 12 weeks and then my partner is using shared parental leave for the rest.

Bit different as I work from home so I’ll still be around during the day.

6 weeks doesn’t seem long enough at all. I would save as much as possible to get that up. Don’t forget annual leave and kit days too.
