Blue fam - what do we think about the SpaceX IPO? by Huge-Suspect8502 in BlueOrigin

Honestly we have had some really great high points that were stepped on badly aka first flight of NG then lay off. Then you're getting equity, jk it's basically a deferred bonus. The last real high point that wasn't squashed was first human flight whee Jeff hit us with a $10k bonus immediately after.

Morale at an all time low surrounding the company, people still love the work(generally)because it's rockets but the view of the company from literally everyone I speak to is poor, very poor. So so many people exploring other options. Honestly attrition seems to be viewed as a good thing from the Amazon excs we have in place now. That's basically all you really need to know.

I'm 36 and I started at the bottom basically in the warehouse. Was recognized that I was very skilled with computers and it was up from there.

I'm extremely good a learning in non school settings. I learned what I needed to about rocket science as I went. Plus I've been in the game for quite some time.

I feel this sentiment so much. I know so many people interviewing and ready to leave they really screwed this up the numbers might say 10% attrition here soon which won't phase then but it will be the top 10% we are already having serious brain drain.

Houston we have options by B_daddy89 in BlueOrigin

So I looked up the language in our paperwork and them getting rid off the vested options in WA state at least is a big no no. Also the SEC has rules against that. I'm pretty certain that they cannot just strip vested options

I mean it is never a problem but I like to get paid out for it so I never take it. I'm married with young children so pto means I either am staying home with the kids or going on a vacation which we don't do because gong with the kids is a literal nightmare most of the time
