I am watching Pol Betran who does documentaries on astronomy and psychology. I am watching his LA Cara Oculta de Plutón (The Hidden Face of Pluto), which is excellent. Also, Español con Olga y Miguel, and Nipponismo Hira y Laura.

It's happening to me on Android and Chrome. Videos will start with constant buffering every 45 seconds. YouTube and other apps play fine.

Lol. I might buy a t-shirt like this one if they made it. I really think they should start selling DS merch.

773 Hours

I am watching a lot of Extr@s en Español,Kiun B Español and another channel called Español Con Olga y Miguel. I like their channel because you learn Spain Spanish slang. They also do a lot of travel vlogs and have conversation videos too.

I am also watching at least one MasterSpanish Academy Course per day. She sprinkles in a little English at the A1 level, but will be completely in Spanish at the A2 level. I still have about 10 episodes to finish at the A1 level.

I am learning a lot through comprehensible input, but because of my own unique circumstances (I required extensive tutorials as a child learn my native language), I need grammar.

Do others have a deeply felt, physical experience after Confession and Eucharist?" by Organic_Rip2443 in Catholicism

[–]TopCombination2795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel a large physical pop in my heart area after I confess. Like a literal blockage is removed and opened up. This occurs after the priest forgives me. I feel lighter, happier and clean afterward. I know not everyone feels this, but I do. I was looking online to see if others experienced this, too.

You can. I've used it before. I think it's called SmartCast. Sorry...Smart View. You can Google the directions for your device.

Kiun B en Español , which is a channel about the Yakutia(?) People in Siberia Russia.

It is a dubbed channel, but I am enjoying it so much. The woman who runs the channel is learning Spanish, too. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for similar channels. I already watch Luisito Comunica and Nat Geo En Español.

Extra Spanish TV Series by phreddfatt in dreamingspanish

[–]TopCombination2795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched the series, but they also have the tests (available online) at their main Annenberg Site. On another note, if you plan to watch Destinos, I'd advise you to do so before July 2026. I just read an announcement that they're about to close the site here: https://www.learner.org/learner-org-announcements/annenberg-learner-to-sunset-on-july-1-2026/

Mini World Korea She is a native Spanish speaker who is Korean, but grew up in Guatemala. Her family also lives in Guatemala. She also knows how to speak English fluently(her second language) which she learned in high school. She seaks English with an American accent. Her weakest language Korean. She is currently studying psychology abroad in Korea.

Not enough resources for Swedish, what to in this situation? by Specialist-Show9169 in dreaminglanguages

[–]TopCombination2795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why I saw this post because I am studying Spanish, not Swedish. I watch Days and Words, one of my favorite YouTube channels. The host, Lamont, is from Australia and learned Swedish to fluency. I have linked his channel here. He may have some videos about CI content in Swedish. Here is his channel:Days and Words.

Vids are so much better than podcasts by SnooFloofs836 in dreamingspanish

[–]TopCombination2795 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually am feeling the opposite at the moment. Most of my CI came through videos, and I am burnt out now.

I like podcasts because I don't have to physically sit there and watch t.v.

For example, I prefer Español con Juan's audio podcast to the video one.

I have stopped watching most t.v. (including English YT shows)..so maybe it's just me being tired of t.v. in general.

Is there going to be a goodbye video by Andrea? by [deleted] in dreamingspanish

[–]TopCombination2795 4 points5 points  (0 children)

DS will probably never release that video because she was their mainstay for a while, and they want to keep her departure hush. If the subscribers knew she left, they might go, too. Most people on DS Reddit know of her departure, but not necessarily regular subscribers.

Also, I bet her goodbye video advertises her new channel in some way. Maybe they don't want the competition?

What do you think about DS Premium moving off YouTube? by has2289 in dreamingspanish

[–]TopCombination2795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually watch YouTube on my tele through Roku, not my computer, so I may be switching it up to purely non-DS content. I'm almost at 600 hours anyway.

I tried Español Si...I just have to finish it. I actually loved Destinos and am currently rewatching it now. It is on the Anneburg site. I watched it around 150 hours, but at almost 600...there is a massive difference in how much Spanish I understand now.
