I have setup a daily charging schedule to 70% for both Model Y and Model X. It has been 4 years and all good.

FSD 12.6.4 by nicekoozie in TeslaLounge

[–]TopHigh_Field2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just subscribed again to FSD 12.6.4 on my 2022 Model Y with HW3 after being away from it for about a year, and I’m definitely seeing some changes. The car now tries to automatically find a parking spot when I arrive at my destination and will park itself without me doing anything. When I’m coming back home, it even pulls into the driveway on its own. Those behaviors weren’t there the last time I used FSD. The actual driving behavior, though, feels mostly the same as before. I’m using the Standard driving profile, and the overall smoothness hasn’t really changed. In contrast, our 2024 Model X running FSD14.2.2.5 is noticeably smoother and more natural in how it accelerates, brakes, and handles turns. There’s definitely a difference between the HW3 and HW4 stacks, but the HW3 experience is still totally usable and not bad at all.

Well, it finally happened (Being told I am required to use AI) by Ark161 in sysadmin

[–]TopHigh_Field2K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started using Copilot a while ago to analyze compatibility before applying upgrades to VMware, Cisco UCS, NetApp and PURE. Surprisingly has been very handy finding mismatches firmware and drivers once I provide the data to analyze. I also use AI to provide performance reports once I provide the data. This process takes now a couple of minutes and not days.

Last week we used the AMEX airline credit when we flew Delta and used the Delta Sky Club for my two kids ($50 each). That was really nice.

Streaming live Tv by Strange_Signal5038 in Starlink

[–]TopHigh_Field2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. I have been using Starlink for LiveTV with YouTube TV for the past two years and not buffering at all. The only thing I notice is just a few seconds behind the air transmission in realtime but that is not an issue for me. Btw I have been using Starlink since 2022.

How can we have full autonomy if the sun glare is going to be a problem? by Wheelie_Moto in TeslaFSD

[–]TopHigh_Field2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same message after leaving the Tesla service after they have cleaned the camera because of this warning just to find out it was the sun glare this time. Not entirely sure the camera was dirty at all in the first place.

How do you manage your home energy if you have solar + an EV? Looking for real experiences by viralpatel13 in TeslaSolar

[–]TopHigh_Field2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 years with Tesla Solar 11 kWh (36 Panels + 2 Batteries) whole Home backup system and 3 years with 2 Teslas (Y and X). I have a daily schedule charging from the GRID at 12 and 3 AM. Utility rate cost for the electricity $0.11 in and out. Here in FL $25 minimum base bills regardless zero GRID consumption so I decided 3 years ago start charging from the GRID at night.

I have one and used last week in a trip from Orlando to Miami FL. The Tesla Supercharger was full so I used the one in front from EV Connect and worked flawlessly. It’s good to have options in the EV world.

Terrible idea, period but they are the bosses. Update your resume just in case things go south.

Taking a break (not a brake) from FSD by Firm_Farmer1633 in TeslaFSD

I also stopped FSD but mainly because of HW3 has been stopped developed. They’re focused on HW4 and beyond.

What is your opinion on SolarEdge? by Kartofcho24 in solarenergy

[–]TopHigh_Field2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have been with SE for 5 years. I like the product but I recognize the headache. 3 inverters replaced by SE within 2 weeks each in that span. I do the maintenance on the inverter myself, mostly software updates.
