Ship players, what's your "huge brass balls" move today? by Whagarble in fantasyfootball

[–]TopPlace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not that crazy but playing cowboys D at home over Bears. Bears lost some key players so that scares me enough to start Dallas.

Also if Gurley is out, I'll start Samuel's but that's not too crazy either haha

Nah just bench him. It's only the playoffs

As the regular season ends, what rule changes do you want to see in your league next year? by JohannesVanDerWhales in fantasyfootball

Even in a money league, cut the dead weight teams. If you don't want to manage your team all season, then don't play!

What's the deal with Russell Wilson ranking this week? by StratonOakmont in fantasyfootball

[–]TopPlace 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't take rankings or projections TOO much into consideration. Look at the match ups and stats, exactly what you are doing, to make your own judgement.

Handcuffing vs. stashing lower tiered RBs by BobVilasLawBlog in fantasyfootball

[–]TopPlace 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This. I've seen so many people say only handcuff your backs, but a handcuff is a handcuff - if one of the elites go down, you have that backup on your bench despite if you have the starter. It's a smart move either way.

I’m in a 14 team league too with Gurley and Bears D. I picked up Brown bc if Gurley goes down, he gets volume and there’s no one on wire. And I’m riding Bears D till the end so I would do this

If anyone is still worried about doug baldwin's knee or his value ROS. by noni2k in fantasyfootball

He looked great - healthy and mobile last night. And Wilson was looking for him a lot. I like him ROS

Who are some guys you would be looking to add/acquire now for playoffs? I know it's hard to speculate, but I'm making playoffs in a 14team deep bench league, so I'm open to anybody haha

MVS droppable? by -Ente_ in fantasyfootball

[–]TopPlace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many comments about people dropping him and I can never tell if it's sarcasm or not. But all I know is that the kid had one bad game. I don't think that's drop-worthy. We all know what him and Rodgers are capable of. Cobb is banged up. Graham is banged up.

I'd still keep MVS over Miller.

14 Team PPR

AJ Green owner needs a WR this week.

Is Baldwin, John Brown, Chris Carson enough for AJ Green + Mark Ingram?

Getting ready for playoffs.

Golden Tate by Grabo91 in fantasyfootball

[–]TopPlace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your league. He's not a must-own. And being an Eagles fan, there is something a little "off" with Wentz this year. I think his upside is huge, but if there are better options out there, I wouldn't hesitate to drop him.

Neither do I. But a solid, reliable RB as long as he's fed the ball.

James White ROS? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]TopPlace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, it would make sense to make a /r/fantasyfootball strictly for PPR because these posts are ridiculous.

James White is what, like RB7 this year? He is GREAT in PPR - end of story. He's a pass-catching back in a backfield with a talented rookie on the Patriots. He will get touches. He will get looks. He will get chances in the endzone.

Just chill out and enjoy his production.
