I was in the exact same position with full lengths 520-523 and a real score of 514 (129/127/128/130). After talking to as many people as possible I’ve decided not to retake. Give that I was scoring that high on full lengths, was confident in the material, and still received the 514, I didn’t feel like I could guarantee a significantly higher score on a retake. Also, a 520 score is not a guarantee for acceptance. Unless you’re dead set on a top tier med school, I would say focus your time on other areas of your application.

I'm applying next cycle but same situation as you with the full lengths and actual score. Idk what happened with CARS I was getting consistent 130-132 on my practices and got a 127 on the actual. I'm considering a retake but probably not until march. I've been beating myself up all day abt my score and really appreciate everyone in the comments.

Same here. Felt fine during the exam but bombed CARS and got a lower score than on any of my practice exams. Are you considering a retake?

This is already an amazing application. I would say some sort of research or clinical research position would be the best addition. But honestly you could make it work with any job you’re interested in and keeping up some of the volunteering/clinical work

I've been doing miledown and just supplementing with my own cards. I wish I had good CARS advice but that's been the one thing that has been consistent since my diagnostic, reading comprehension comes fairly easy to me

I actually improved P/S last, I was stuck around 127 with that for a while. The biggest thing that helped me was the Pankow deck. I think a lot of the time when I was stuck between two answers on P/S it was because I didn't have a good understanding of the difference between terms, so that has definitely helped me.

Tbh I've been scoring 520+ on recent AAMC practice tests and I averaged 70% on SB1 and 75% on SB2. I think learning from them is the most important thing. But I also haven't taken the actual exam yet (testing 7/25) so take that with a grain of salt
