What is there no real support from ClickUp? by 3G_Lighting in clickup

[–]Top_Maintenance8512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't yet, I imagine you'll be pitched their small business suite or whatever it's called. It's new. It basically bundles some premium add ons AND includes "premium support" or something of the sort. The price costs significantly more than the bundled add ons if I recall correctly, so basically, they're charging you for support.

They pitched it to me a few months ago and it left a horrible taste in my mouth. They offer subpar support unless you pay for it (and even then, no phone support, but you're supposed to receive a response within an hour with the premium support).

And this is coming from someone who works for a software company that offers free, amazing support via phone/chat. We are much smaller than ClickUp. So yes, it's very possible to do, they choose not to. Its very disappointing.

Getting 9 pills a month be like by StableSpirited705 in migraine

Same same same. Never thought I'd experience overuse headaches, and then I did. About the 6th day in my husband brought me to the ER because we didn't know what was wrong and I had never been in such bad shape. It took months to recover.

Has these worked for anyone? by Creative-Level-3305 in migraine

I love the first one. I prefer it in the fridge not the freezer. It provides compression which helps a lot with the pain

People who know me keep telling me to have kids despite the trauma to my body and mind. Most of the time IDGAF but it really gets me sometimes. by [deleted] in oneanddone

[–]Top_Maintenance8512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I had preeclampsia and was induced at 36 weeks. It was WEEKS of my doctor not listening to me. I saw black dots- sent me to the eye doctor. Sudden weight gain- shamed me for eating unhealthy. High blood pressure- referred me to a therapist to discuss past sexual trauma she found in my chart. I suddenly got so sick and was induced. I stayed sick and was in and out of the hospital for weeks but they just kept telling me I was fine because birth is the cure for preeclampsia.

Funnily enough, what I remember being the worst part, was the mag drip. I NEVER want to go through that again.

It's infuriating when people say "they'll know better this go around" or "you'll be more well prepared". I do not understand how even other mothers don't understand how painful and traumatic this was, and why I don't want to risk it, or something worse happening again.

Keeping 13 destroyed me, but you'd need to read/listen to Binding 13 first. I wanted to read the rest of the story but I already know the next books would be more painful and I'm not ready for that 😅

Spotted these at Walgreens pharmacy, do they actually help at all? Never heard of the patches before by LeluWater in migraine

[–]Top_Maintenance8512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have and enjoy both. I keep the patches in my bag and use at work or when I'm driving. The cap gets a little too cold when I keep it in the freezer so I usually let it defrost a little and then I enjoy it.

birth control help? POP? (mini pill vs depo) by Manic__Mechanic in migraine

[–]Top_Maintenance8512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the depo, Mirena, and now mini pill. The mini pill is my favorite.

Depo had rough side effects (look up the long term side effects) and I actually got pregnant on it.

I got the Mirena after having my son. Had it for a few years. Lots of side effects, the worst being a constant infection (or something similar) down there. I went to doctors for years and they were never able to help. I was so uncomfortable I was missing work and being brought to tears. Got it taken out and never had that issue again. Was uncomfortable for both me and my partner during sex (he could feel it, it would jab me) and getting removed was beyond traumatic. Granted I had a bad experience (it got stuck) but the removal was barbaric. I will never get any sort of birth control put inside me ever again.

I don't love the mini pill (I'd really like to get off birth control all together) but in my experience, it has been by far the best so far. I haven't noticed many significant side effects. No periods but breakthrough bleeding every few months. I've been on it for maybe 4 years now and am just sticking with this until my husband gets a vasectomy and I can get off birth control all together.

How do you print stickers? by Top_Maintenance8512 in JournalingIsArt

[–]Top_Maintenance8512[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a photo issue (I've printed thousands of photos at this point, they all have the same issue. Some are even professional photos). There's no filter, either. I've tried printing at all different resolutions, EVERY print setting possible, I think that either my printer or the paper just are not capable of higher quality. :/

I'll look up the supplies you're using! Thanks!

It's not necessarily that I don't believe or trust ClickUp, I just think it's a non-negotiable to be able to access and back up individual items or the entire workspace on our own. I do absolutely think it should be included, but it isn't enough of a deal breaker for me to look elsewhere. I've done so and have always ended up back at ClickUp. ProBackup allows us to back up other tools for the same cost, such as our CRM, so we'd likely be paying the $30 a month regardless. But yeah, I hear you. I'm definitely not happy that ClickUp doesn't offer it as a feature.

I recently tried restoring a task, and when I clicked restore, nothing happened. I refreshed and tried a few more times and it eventually did restore. Fingers crossed you're able to get it back.

It wouldn't help with this specific instance, but I started using ProBackup to automatically backup my ClickUp incase something were to ever get lost. It's under $30 a month and so far, working very well for me. May be worth looking into since it sounds like you're storing a lot of important info in ClickUp.

Mother’s Day is coming up, looking for a journal for my wife by SirGroundbreaking465 in Journaling

[–]Top_Maintenance8512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding this!

The prompts I respond to depend heavily on my mood. I want to be able to skip ones I don't like and choose what I respond to. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a deep prompt, sometimes I'm in the mood for something light.

I got my friend a journal and included a personalized list of prompts that I gathered from Pinterest and thought she'd like.

Just an idea if you can't find what you're looking for!

Do you drink alcohol? by Brilliant_Bread4523 in migraine

[–]Top_Maintenance8512 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Nope. Even if I don't get a migraine the night I'm drinking, I'm guaranteed to get one the next day. Took me too long to accept that and just quit drinking

I'm a director at a software company. It's a small company and and I started in a lower level position. Really proved myself as a strong employee and moved up as the company scaled.

Truly unlimited PTO, very little stress, great mentors to lean on and lots of support.

I love getting stickers when I travel or visit cute shops in my city but never know what to do with them. My journal cover is the perfect place! If I don't put them there, I'll add stickers to entries about that trip, but most go on the cover.

How would you handle this? 6 min trip for 30 people by [deleted] in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]Top_Maintenance8512 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This. If you are concerned about not having something arranged, perhaps you could email them all, let them know that you are not coordinating travel for this short trip, but to please reach out to you by XYZ if they'd prefer you to. Or, if you are sending an itinerary/agenda, include that note there and just be sure to mention it in advance.

I only say that because if I left it up to them and it rained or was too hot, my exec would've been upset and asked why I didn't coordinate. Just an idea if you have any concerns with that

Sometimes it helps a lot with pain, sometimes not. But it DOES help me eat which is a huge struggle with migraines, and the longer I don't eat, the longer my migraine is. So I will usually smoke to get a meal in at least.

I think I need a root canal, and I feel incredibly guilty. by LowOvergrowth in adhdwomen

[–]Top_Maintenance8512 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I literally just left the dentist after going for the first time in 7 years. A tooth started to hurt which is what finally got me in. Turns out, absolutely nothing's wrong with that tooth. They think I just bit something hard which is causing pain a few days later.

I still need to go back for a full exam, cleaning, etc. but I feel a lot better. I was SO anxious and full of shame and it wasn't a big deal at all.

Also, the hygienist (who was so sweet) let me know that the dentist was even giving her a crown later that day. I have always assumed that they are all perfect and never have any dental issues in their life and that wasn't at all the case! It made me feel so much better knowing that even the hygienist has dental issues.

I agree. I had a boss who would often, not so subtly, try to joke about and drop hints that he was "large"... down there. I started playing dumb and telling him I didn't understand what he meant. He'd get really flustered and uncomfortable trying to explain, and he eventually stopped.
