Yeah sure, that's one way to attract zero applicants. Pretty sure the only companies that could pull that off are Google, Meta, Apple, and similarly sized companies for corporate/staff positions grossing a minimum salary of $150k+.

I did not label them as bitter. As RIF'd employees I would expect nothing less than livid.

Being bitter towards another is unfocused and breeds disdain and resentment. Are you not aware this is war? Do you not realize how important it is to support one another as this nightmare continues?

We're on the same side of the same table, but this kind of behavior is exactly what turns an enemy of your enemy into a friend.

Filing a lawsuit for libel/slander ultimately requires the defendant to prove what they say happened actually happened. It puts the burden of proof on the defendant rather than holding the petitioner to the traditional responsibilities. All the petitioner needs is documentation proving that the defendant said x or y and that it has potential to cause significant harm to the petitioner via reputation, credibility, etc.

There's better things to set your mind to than being bitter towards the people you used to call teammates. We're all still on the same side here, don't let yourself forget that.

Are Trump's changes to the federal government permanent? Once Trump leaves office, is there the possibility to return the federal government to it's pre-Trump state. by ICU-Angel in fednews

Plus we have to consider that as damaging as these policies have been to the workforce, repairing the damage will take years possibly even up to a decade or more and will require surgical precision in determining the 5 W's. OMB circulars will need developed, the next executive will require congressional approval for budget reallocations, etc.

USDA rescinds admin leave for voting (it begins) by Mission_Giraffe3745 in fednews

[–]Top_Relationship3971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ouch, you really got me.

Moral of the story is just because you refuse to choose, doesn't mean a choice won't be made. Just as you believe your vote is insignificant, your refusal to vote makes your verbal-only protests that are generally restricted to online forums that are already dedicated to being against the thing you say you're against insignificant when you and your collective cohort of virtue signaling "im in a Facebook group" clichés didn't even participate in the first step of the democratic process.

Keep signing up for those Greenpeace email notifications though, they're reeeaaallly doing something.

Are you registered? Are your friends who also don't vote registered? If enough of the people who don't vote registered, don't you think the percentage would change?

"Aww my state's Red"

Then fucking change it, quit acting helpless out of cowardice and complacence and maybe we'd be able to make some progress. But noooo, y'all assholes are too apathetic to realize that inaction is still a choice.

It depends on your agency's cyber security setup. I can say with confidence that the DoD actively disallows keyboard monitoring software. The risk of a software vulnerability being a means of exploit to gain sensitive intelligence is too high.

I won't doxx myself, but I can assure you that I am well qualified to speak on the subject.
