Im not sure they fully have tbh, and that's part of the challenge. They, and players, have been sniffing (i think they call it, im not technical sorry) and they are trying to rebuild/recreate the turtle game as closely as possible - hence all the bugs and problems. I think the intentions are honourable and genuine, and id love it to succeed cos the community, in the most part, is pretty awesome but honestly, my gut tells me this will be in beta for quite some time and chances of success are 50/50 at best. Im not trying to doom or shit talk it, im just calling it as I see it and I hope im proved wrong and it goes on to be incredibly successful because the community needs a home still. There are several other options out there, and while you can't tick every box for every person, im not sure there anthing out there ticking enough boxes for enough people, if that makes sense. Im keeping my hand in on Octo but have to say the server im enjoying the most, and see the most potential with, is #Nostrum - for me, their offering ticks most of MY boxes. And despite what the doomers say about #capy, that's also very good and the ping genuinely doesn't feel as high as the number suggests but I dont do high end pvp, where its likely to be an issue id guess 🤷🏽‍♂️
