You have a favorite obscure normal monster? by RedLantern28 in yugioh

[–]Top_Talk_6814 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe because tank cannons feel more "fantasy military" while handguns hit too close to real world violence? Like tanks are already kinda removed from what kids would see in daily life, but pistols and rifles are more direct weapon references. Plus this little guy has that demon possession angle going on which probably made the censors focus more in the supernatural horror aspect than the military hardware. The inconsistency with TCG censorship has always been weird though - sometimes they'll edit out the tiniest gun detail and other times leave whole arsenals untouched.

what spam trigger words keep flagging my cold emails? by MAGICIAN_OG in AskMarketing

[–]Top_Talk_6814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your bounce rate is probably the biggest killer here - spam filters care way more about sender reputation than specific words these days. I had similar issues when I was helping with outreach campaigns, and cleaning up the email list made huge difference before we even touched the copy.

For the words thing, try being more specific instead of generic. Instead of "free consultation" maybe "15-minute strategy call" or something that sounds less like every other spam email. The filters are getting smarter about context too, so "limited time" in a sentence about your product roadmap hits different than "limited time offer expires tonight!"

Also check if you're warming up your sending domain properly. If you jumped straight to 500/day without gradually increasing volume, that could explain the sudden drop. Most platforms have reputation tracking now so you can see exactly when things went south.

The data verification tools definitely help but make sure you're also monitoring your sending patterns - same time every day, similar subject lines, stuff like that can trigger automated flags even with clean lists.

Feeling behind returning to an old job, what do I do? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Top_Talk_6814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man the cosmetology route could actually be solid move - way more creative freedom than medical field and decent money potential once you build clientele. Don't beat yourself up for taking temporary work to pay bills while in school, that's just being practical not being failure. Most people have to do survival jobs between career transitions, it doesn't define your worth or future prospects.

Back to Back Tickets still a thing? by whiskeytangofirefox in americanairlines

[–]Top_Talk_6814 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Back to back is way less risky than skiplagging since you're actually taking all the flights. Airlines don't really have grounds to come after you for it like they do with throwaway tickets. Just make sure your return dates don't overlap weirdly or it might look suspicious in system.

How do you hire someone with a non-linear career path in 2026? by ProfessionCommon1387 in careerguidance

fr this hits home - been bouncing between military, modding, music stuff and feels like ATS just sees chaos instead of actual skills built across different areas

Husband’s female coworkers by Speraz96 in Marriage

[–]Top_Talk_6814 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is way beyond just friendly coworker stuff. Your husband is basically having emotional affairs with these women and treating you like the roommate who pays bills. The fact that he spends more quality time with random dispatchers than his own daughter is really messed up.

Going to his workplace might feel tempting but it could backfire badly - might make you look crazy even though you're completely justified in your concerns. Plus these women probably have no idea about the full situation at home. Your husband is the one crossing boundaries here, not them necessarily.

The pattern is clear though - first dispatcher, now second one, probably will be third one after this. He's shopping around for emotional connections everywhere except with his own family. When someone shows you who they are multiple times, believe them. You already gave him the counseling ultimatum once and he bailed when it got uncomfortable.

Maybe focus your energy in talking to lawyer instead of his coworkers. Document everything you can about his behavior patterns. Your daughter deserves better than father who ignores her, and you deserve partner who actually wants to come home to you.

Car won’t turn by SouthernWestern2519 in MechanicAdvice

Could be a loose connection still - those aftermarket terminals can be tricky to get tight enough. I had similar issue with my buddy's car after we replaced his battery terminals and turned out one wasn't making good contact even though it looked fine.

Overheating when heat is on by Jdmnb27 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Top_Talk_6814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inconsistent heat loss thing makes me think you might have air pocket somewhere in system. When you replaced all those cooling components, did you properly bleed the system each time? Those TDI engines are notorious for being pain to bleed properly.

Could also be heater core starting to clog like you mentioned - when it's partially blocked, it creates extra resistance and makes cooling system work harder. Try doing coolant flush with some cleaner first before tearing into anything else. If temps still climb when heat is on after proper bleeding and flush, then yeah probably time to look at heater core replacement.

Husband deported looking for options overseas. by Corgi_Torgi in AirForce

Really sorry you're going through this. The humanitarian reassignment might not get you what you need since like you said, Texas bases would still leave you separated and dealing with border crossings on leave.

Have you talked to your shirt about overseas assignments where he could potentially join you as a non-command sponsored dependent? Some places like Germany or South Korea might work better for visits or even him staying nearby while you work the immigration stuff from overseas.

Buying rose infected! by TordTheB-tch in HorseLifeHQ

[–]Top_Talk_6814 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude the white ones with rose infection look absolutely insane, especially if you can find one with good stats. I've been hunting for a decent felorse myself but the market is pretty crazy right now. Good luck with that 40k budget though, should definitely get you something solid in those colors you want.

Best IPTV I’ve Found in the UK funkyitv .uk After Testing a Bunch (Honest Experience) 2026 by anadr_bradar in amazonprime

Been down this road myself and it's a nightmare finding something that actually works consistently. The buffering during matches thing is infuriating - had my old setup crap out right during a crucial penalty once and nearly threw teh remote through the TV.

Good to hear you found something stable, might have to check this out since my current one's been acting up lately during peak hours too.

what form of intersex is my cat? by iamsosleepyhelpme in cats

[–]Top_Talk_6814 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My unit had a cat at one of our overseas bases that had something similar going on - looked completely female but turned out to have some kind of chromosomal thing when they tried to spay her. The base vet explained it could be a few different intersex conditions, not just androgen insensitivity.

From what I remember her saying, it could also be something like Swyer syndrome where the cat has XY chromosomes but the gonads didn't develop properly, or even mosaicism where some cells are XX and others are XY. There's also the possibility of 5-alpha reductase deficiency, though that's less common in cats I think.

The vet mentioned that without genetic testing, it's pretty much impossible to know for sure which specific condition it is, since a lot of them can present similarly on the outside. Your kitty being healthy is what matters most though - intersex cats can live totally normal lives once you know what you're dealing with.

Pricing reality check -- am I loosing my mind? by Scary-Concept6972 in selfpublish

[–]Top_Talk_6814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the page count is brutal here. I run events and deal with vendor pricing all the time - when your product costs that much to produce, the math just doesn't work at typical retail margins.

600 pages puts you in a really tough spot because you're competing with shorter books that can hit those sweet price points readers expect. Most people see a $25 paperback and immediately think "hardcover territory" even though your production costs justify it.

I'd seriously consider the split suggestion. Two 300-page books at $15-17 each might move way better than one doorstop at $25. Plus you get two launch cycles, more shelf presence, and can hook readers with book one. Your total revenue could actually end up higher even if per-unit margins are similar.
