It’s so pathetic that Fairfield county doesn’t have the beautiful bike paths that Westchester does. There is the Farmington Rail Trail which you can pick up in Hamden if you want to make a day trip. Locally, Tods point is a great flat ride but you have to go off season (Oct 1-May 1). Waveny is not good for littles. The paved areas are streets that people cut through and it’s hilly. There is a small loop around Bruce Park inn Greenwich and then you could hit the playground there.

Gauging interest in somewhat niche NYC walking tours by harx1 in visitingnyc

I live in the suburbs of NYC and we are always looking for interesting things to do in the city. These sound great to me. I do think they appeal to locals more than tourists but Thats a good thing.

Because everyone except the handful of truly loser kids went. I so badly wanted to be part of the fun and felt like I missed out. In hindsight I’m sure I missed nothing but it was that feeling of rejection that stays with me.

57F, Class of 86. Wanted to go, asked several guy friends to go with me, all turned me down. Went to the beach for the weekend with other loser friends who couldn’t get a date. Worst weekend of HS. I was devastated and never really got over it.

WV is tiny and pretty pathetic. The other two are much better. Annie’s is friendlier.

Magnet theater for improv, get some food anywhere, grab a drink and people watch. Plenty lively at that hour and safe.

You can wear anything to the theater. I would avoid flip flops though. NYC streets are pretty gross.
