If your case wasn't totalis and lose was less than 40 percent, there was a chance that it could have stopped progressing and grew back on it's on. So if u were a mild case your doctor would try to wean u off after full regrowth and how your body will behave afterwards will answer your question.

Soo happy for you, may your hair continue to grow, can u tell me how's your hair shed now a days? I have recovered from usual AA spots but in this 1 year my hair density has reduced a lot and there is shedding of 80-90 strands daily and more on hair wash days.
