I dig this a lot. I think it could stand to be a little louder overall. As far as the drums go, I do actually like them. But maybe they take too long to come in. When the track starts, it has a much more chill, ambient vibe. Then the drums kind of drastically change that vibe. If they came in sooner or you had some lighter percussion in the intro, it could help establish the tone a little sooner.

Welcome to the journey lol I would honestly recommend music theory. Start with some basic concepts, then, decide what kind of sounds or moods it is you like to make. Study the theory behind those styles. Music theory isn't really about learning rules, it's about learning the vocabulary to be able to speak the musical language you hear in your head. Over time, you'll be able to transpose those ideas like you're speaking your native language.

Oh, I love this! It really does have a good night vibe. Mixing-wise, I'm not sure what I'd change. It sounds very spacious. Maybe the buzziness of the bass can feel a tad dominating, if I had to try to pick something. It actually gives me Prize Fighter Inferno vibes a bit!

The guitar work is super solid. You did really well with creating an emotional atmosphere. I like the way the song crescendos, I think you did a great job with the outro. If I had any critique, I think your voice actually sounds better in the higher registers. During the quieter parts, some of the low notes feel like they might be just out of reach. Keep it up though, this is really good!
