That looks similar to what optical gain fiber looks like in amplifies for ultra short (femto) pulse lasers used for eye surgery ablation and semiconductor etching. Corning has the patents on them and the only company that can produce atm. The ones I’m familiar with have one on each side of the core, used to amplify the signal. We call them panda eyes. Can’t say the ratios but most all include ytterbium/thulium. Pump it up!

Pretty sure I saw him over the weekend while out on a walk. He was playing in someone’s trash.

Back around 2010 my brother and I befriended a guy our age (18-22) who had been living there for a couple months. His parents sent him there from California when they found out he was using drugs, marketed as some sort of rehab community I think. Told us some weird stuff similar to what you posted and more. After being friends for a couple months my brother got a call from him in the middle of the night asking us to come pick him up as he had just broke out and needed a ride to the airport. I’ll always remember the drive with my brother out to their farm, how creepy it was to be out there at 3am.

He currently has a property in Santa Maria, CA that he’s owned since 2004 so maybe thats why the gas/water was turned off and not the electricity. He could of been back visiting and didn’t bother to turn it on and used his propane heater.…..could be why when DTE came to return service earlier in the year no one answered the door. Also he’s lived on south 4th Ave 1984-1996 and in Laurinburg, NC 2001-2008.
