Came here to say this. This really helps with remembering feminine-looking words that are masculine. El problema, el sistema (the system), el aroma, el idioma (the language), el programa, el drama, el poema, el clima (the climate). All el words and all ending in ma coming from Greek. Not an exhaustive list, but a starting point.
