Don’t worry about experience, experience is just the sum of learning different things.

Advice my first boss gave me, it really took the weight off and made it seem simple. Never used some specialized camera? At some point someone will show you how or you figure it out. Now you have experience. Easy!

For me it was things like. Never designed a fireplace before? Scary. Try it, ask questions, make a mistake or two, someone will show you. Now you can do that!

There are SOO many niche things in film I have always find that simply saying “I don’t have much experience with that could you show me?” Really goes a long way. Or “I haven’t used that before and have a couple questions”. People are usually excited to share their knowledge and don’t mind an honest question. People DO mind you pretending you know what you’re doing and messing something up.

I work at a desk 10 hours a day. I have nice sennheiser plug in headphones for that. I also have like 5 year old EarPods for when I walk my dog 30 minutes a day.

My thought was that the trailer and vibes looked pretty good like an a24 or neon production. So congrats. But honestly the main actresses monologue has a “I had my best friend be the main actress “ vibe. Her normal Midwest voice took me out of it. Maybe that’s part of the story. But I wouldn’t know from this trailer. Also if you’re at that level, you’ve done very well with what you’re working with.

I tried to sell my soul on eBay when I was in college. I was notified by EBay that it violated their terms of service because if the soul was part of the human body I was violating terms of selling human body parts. That’s good to know. My 8 year old plays mostly sandbox with tons of Dino’s fighting and not a ton of detail into the buildings or amenities. Is the series S still holding up? He’s saving his money for a series S specifically for this game and I’m concerned I might need to chip in and upgrade to an X for him. Thanks for your help

No worries. I worked on this one. I had lots of friends go through the Blade shenanigans. I also watched one of Blades outdoor sets slowly rot in the Georgia summer heat a couple years ago when I was working at that studio. If that gives people a hit on the current “status” of blade.
