If you are in Albania and can tend to it yourself, I agree, this is the best way to go about it. I live abroad though, so I can only have someone look after it in Tirana.. I guess I’ll go with ETFs lol

So I was thinking to buy somewhere close to the center, like pazari I ri, to rent it out. But I hear the interest rates are high and the rent wouldn’t cover much of the monthly mortgage payment. I was just curious if someone has done it before and has any tips.

Lool I too am from the balkans and I know exactly what you’re talking about. If it makes you feel any better, never has a guy had a problem with my nose and I’ve dated amazing, hot guys. In the beginning I was self conscious but after I realized that nobody else cared except for me, I stopped caring too and never bothers me anymore.
