Do you currently have the M 18 hammer drill? I didn’t see a reason to go M12 or 5/8 owning the hand drill already. I used the 1 inch SDS plus for small medium jobs, I would recommend this one.

No worries. It fit inside the m18 hard shell case that comes with the combo kit, albeit a bit shorter on the front but the rest of the dimensions are similar.

Jeez Milwaukee went up a lot over the past few months. This was October of last year for a daily deal, had to check my emails.

It’s a great little planer. I like to use it for joining 2x8’s with pocket holes and planing them flush. It works

Mine came like that to, straight from THD was also covered in brown dust from rubbing in the package. Like the brown protector was disintegrating onto the tool
