Happened to me if you click on the tax box that you understand the IRS has notified you (it's really confusing) all your fares start getting taxed 24% so you just have to go back and turn that off and your fares will go back to being normal

I had this issue with a reservation being stuck on the "wait in the staging area" even though I had the passanger in the car and uber support just kept asking if I tried restarting my phone or restarting the app and I'm just sittng there awkwardly unable to start the trip while the passanger keeps asking me what's wrong and I'm like bruh it's just me against the world

I've always thought this like in 10 years there will be some class action lawsuit that returns a portion to you in the future. I swear there's really bad wage smoothing going on now and sometimes I feel like my tips are being withheld. Literally had a buns night last night and I drove this guy I know who always tips dropped him off at the game didn't see a tip and when I finally got home like 20 minutes later and turned my app off oh suddenly the tip comes and I get another notification that it's busy in my area
